Thanks Rikard, the problem is solved. Though I feel I have done nothing new; things i tried before. But whatever the problem was, the solution is there and seems just as you say have to do with sizes. Thanks for your help!
Hi Rikard,
Done. Regards, JanI have the same problem. Please take care of proper update so we don’t have to take all kind of work arounds!
Thanks, Vinay, unfortunately that limits other styling options. For instance it is not possible to use a color section. Anyways, I tried it and it didn’t do the trick for me.
Kind regards, Jan
A bit late Rikard, but the topic can be closed. Thanks! Regards Jan
May 17, 2018 at 2:27 pm in reply to: Problem General Styling show previous colors instead of new. #958172Actually Mike, visiting the site and scrolling down, you’ll see what I mean. As you see, the header is stretched first, then scrolling down it becomes 74%. I try to achieve this for both header itself and the part with the menu in it and with rounded corners (10px). I tried the foloowing:
.av-main-nav > li > a {
text-transform: uppercase;
}#top #header {
width: 74%;
left: 13%;
border-radius: 10px;
}
but with unsatisfactory result. I was inspired by the theme in the private section (not sure it is allowed to mention here).If I’m asking too much, I fully understand.
Kind regards, Jan
Hi Nikko,
Thanks for your suggestion. It works, but on mobile is not responsive. Maybe I should make this a special request for a customizable header. Adaptable width and possiblity ty give the edges a radius (rounding) would be a great feature as far as I’m concerned. Makes it so much less WP recognizable templte’. I might be wrong but I feel that that could be the succes of themes like Elementor. But step by step I’m mastering Enfold and personally would stick to it!
Thank and regards, JanMay 16, 2018 at 3:21 pm in reply to: Problem General Styling show previous colors instead of new. #957530Mike, that absolutely solved the problem. I just turned of all the plugins (except Yoast) and what a relief! A good thing to remember, to start installing plugins AFTER building the site!
Even the quick CSS worked now, but only narrowing the menu WITHIN the header, not the header itself. If any suggestions are available for that issue I’d be very happy. Or is there a page anywhere that treats all the possible header tweaks, because I’m willing to find out for myself.
Thanks and kind regards, Jan
In the mean time I solved the problem that colors didn’t change. I had EWWW en Smush working simultaneously, forgot to deactivate EWWW….
The image problem had everything to do with hosting. Changed provider and everything is fine now. Thanks for your effort to help me!
I just found out that using Serverpress (the localhost indeed) was the issue. I have built up a new site at Siteground and now issues have disappeared. So thanks for your effort to try and help me!
Kind regards, Jan
Thanks for the quick reply, Mike. Unfortunately I do not know how to share a link on Serverpress.
Maybe the privately sent link will do?So there is the blue space and the white space that sticks behind the menu when scrolling down, which is the issue.
Regards Jan

This reply has been marked as private.@Kriesi: Thanks for replying. Just found out that disabling minify in the options of W3TC did the trick. As often I see no logic, but the Enfold theme works fine now!
It fixed it for me, BUT W3 total cache now dysfunctions. It makes the site only menu’s etc. Pics are disappeared. Do I turn W3 off, the site is normal, but slow. Is this just coïncidence, or is there any relation?
