I will also need this for all photos left aligned (same padding around the right). For example, the photo in the paragraph Personal Symbolism at http://50.87.248.159/~dominjd2/2015/02/15/new-painting-the-holy-instant/
April 9, 2015 at 2:25 pm in reply to: Text & photo in text box are too close – any way to add space? #425949Beautiful. Thanks. If I understand General Stylings, this will be for all the photos everywhere on the site, including in my blog?
I’m concerned that if I use 974 and they have a 1500 setting, they’ll resize and pixelate my images. Is there any official guidelines? I don’t want those on a slower Internet to wait too long or else they’ll leave the site. Thanks.

Resolved at my end, but still happening every time – I have to press Resend and then my post shows up again on your site with “Slow Down ….” you’ve already sent this – and then I click into my account to see messages. 4 clicks per reply. Good luck fixing that. Resolved.

April 9, 2015 at 2:07 pm in reply to: where to start? please point to easy first tutorials, documentation #425924Thanks. Found it. Done. I created a new menu too. Learning so much :-)
P.S. I see on my list of posts in my accounts that one has a check mark beside it. Is there a way to say that one topic is finished/closed so I know which are still active? Thanks.
April 9, 2015 at 2:05 pm in reply to: Text & photo in text box are too close – any way to add space? #425921Scary and exciting – my first CSS. Thanks. It worked, but still a bit crowded. I’d like the standard to be the same as on my old WP.com site – see http://dominiquehurleyart.wordpress.com/ That’s a comfortable padding on the sides. Thanks.
April 9, 2015 at 1:56 pm in reply to: Photo galleries in blog aren't changing no matter what style I choose #425908Hi – I had wanted to do that, but I don’t see any way here to attach a screen shot. This is how I had them on my old WP.com site ( http://dominiquehurleyart.wordpress.com/2015/03/23/intuitive-sparks-aanl-painting-workshop/ ) I mostly used Tiled Mosaic Gallery style in TwentyEleven. I know this may not be possible here, but I’d like to edit them somehow.
In this one, even if I am in the blog edit page and click to edit the gallery, nothing changes if I change the styles/sizes. When the Bluehost transfer team first transferred the images, they weren’t even linked to anything, so the lightbox came up blank. Now they link, but they don’t display well. Thanks.
Wow Yigit – it’s so easy (sort of) once you know how… I’ve now got just Home and Blog. Perfect. Thanks. And if I understand, I can still see the old demo pages in the menu content editor and just add those to my new menu.
This reply has been marked as private.Follow Up Question – I found that and started editing the Enfold Menu (deleted all the Home v pages, for example). BUT I didn’t delete v.7 because that’s the one I am working on. If I click on Home in the menu, it still goes to the Enfold home, not my home. How do I get my v7 page to become the Home button? Thanks.
April 9, 2015 at 12:53 pm in reply to: Photo galleries in blog aren't changing no matter what style I choose #425877Hi Rikard – sorry about that. This is happening in all 300+ blog posts that were imported from WP.com. Check out any of the galleries, for example, in http://50.87.248.159/~dominjd2/2014/05/16/bye-bye-drawing-psycho-baggage/.
April 9, 2015 at 12:51 pm in reply to: Text & photo in text box are too close – any way to add space? #425876Oh, I forgot to add. I’m a techy newbie, so no CSS field. Also, I’m not using a child theme (was too complicated), so if I play in CSS it will change with updates. I need detailed instructions on where to find things please when you respond. Much appreciated.
April 9, 2015 at 12:48 pm in reply to: Text & photo in text box are too close – any way to add space? #425874Hi Ismael,
Take a look at the About Me section of http://50.87.248.159/~dominjd2/ (this is my test environment). If it shows up at your Enfold site, you need to choose Homev7 . I’ll be changing that today – I see I also got messages on how to change my menu.April 9, 2015 at 3:19 am in reply to: where to start? please point to easy first tutorials, documentation #425680This reply has been marked as private.Fantastic! That worked. Thanks – Merci!
Thanks begrafiks – I’ve watched all those and learned a lot today, but it hasn’t answered this question. The menu names in my WP editor don’t match the ones in my preview (which are the demo ones).
April 8, 2015 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Full width Promo Box or button icon inside Full Width Button? #425513Yes, the look is better, but how do I get a small button icon inside the big button so it looks like http://karinlehmann.com/
Is it possible?Just an update – i tried a 1500 x 470 crop before upload, but now it doesn’t show the full width – it crops the right of the image and when I change the browser size how much of the right varies, but it still not the full width. I’ve got the general layout at 100% for Enfold. Thought that might be the issue.
April 8, 2015 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Pixelization of 1500 px image for Color Section image? #425490Thanks!
I’ve searched through the forum, but haven’t found an answer. Can anyone help? What are the best pixel dimensions for me to crop images in Photoshop before uploading to Fullscreen Slider? The dimension choices under are square, but the actual image seen on my computer is rectangle.
Thanks.April 8, 2015 at 4:18 pm in reply to: Pixelization of 1500 px image for Color Section image? #425394Oh wow, thank you begrafiks. After the insert image in the Color Section, I assumed it was done because it was there. The only thing is that there wasn’t your point 3 – Full Screen. Only Stretch to Fit. Am I missing something? Thanks.
