Hi – I’m trying to get something like the promo bar I saw on this webpage: http://karinlehmann.com/

I’m looking for full width promo bar that’s flush against the slider (which I could do with Full Width Button), but I want an actual button shape in it to make it more obvious. I couldn’t get the Promo Box flush to the slider or full width.

Can I do it without CCS?

    Hi dominiquehurley!

Please use Fullwidth Button elements instead

    Best regards,

Yes, the look is better, but how do I get a small button icon inside the big button so it looks like http://karinlehmann.com/
    Is it possible?

    Hi!

When you edit the shortcode there is an option at the bottom for adding an icon. You can set it to left or right and only displayed on hover if you wish.

Could you tell me where / how to “edit the shortcode”. I’m not sure what that means. Is that a programmer skill or something we can do easily? This is for inside the full-width button, so a small button inside a big button, as per the website example in an earlier message.

Sorry – this is new for me. Thanks for your patience.

    Hey!

Edit the fullwidth button element again then look for the Button Icon option.

HI – sorry, you need to be more specific as I’m a beginner.
Are you saying that one of the 100s of little icons I can choose from inside the Fullwidth Button editor will surround the whole words with a box and change the colour for it to look like the one under the header at http://karinlehmann.com/?
I also tried dragging the button from Content Elements onto the Full Width Button, but it goes under, it won’t go inside. Please elaborate. Thanks.

    Hey!

Alright. I can see what you’re trying to do now. Please remove the fullwidth button element then add a color section instead, apply a background. Inside the section, add a text block to add the text above the button. Below the text block, add a button. Set the button alignment to center and the button size to large or x-large. You can find the text block and button element inside the Content Elements panel.

    Regards,
    Ismael

Yes! Exactly! It makes a lot of sense once you know. Thanks.
    Resolved.
