Thanks that worked, except the words “Trackbacks & Pingbacks” still shows up.

What about the whitespace between the Tags and the Related Posts? How can I make that smaller?

Nope. I still see it there.
Hmmm I just loaded it and there was a blank space there. Reload it if that happens and it should show up.
hmmm weird link doesn’t work if I click on it and it tries to load in the page, but it works if I open it in a new tab. just a heads up.

Can I create a new function-set-avia-frontend.php in my child theme and to the change like that or do I need to edit the original file?

I picked full size when I inserted the image as my logo. When testing with GTMetrix it states that it is missing width and height attributes :

So I guess I need to insert the width and height attributes code somewhere, but I’m not sure exactly where to do this.
Never mind, the code works for the menu. However, the Logo still stays on the left side – how do I center the logo? Also, how do I make the height of the header taller so I can use a larger logo?

Hi Peter,
None of these codes seemed to work.
Also, now when I try to change the border color of my header it doesn’t change.
One more thing I forgot. Is there a way to change the spacing between lines in the blog post titles on this page again – http://www.jonnyfreesh.com/home-page-test-2/
There is almost no space between lines in post titles that are longer than one line and it doesn’t look very nice.

Hi Ismael,
I added it to my functions.php in my child theme – didn’t seem to do anything I can still see the layer slider tab in my wp backend. Do i need to edit the original functions.php file? I would rather do this through a child theme.
And for the third time, can you please tell me what that CSS code does?

Or being able to confirm if I’ve properly uninstalled/deactivated layer slider? It’s still showing up in my WP back end despite deactivating and deleting it from my plugins and also adding the deactivate function to my functions.php…

Right that makes sense. Was hoping that maybe it would just crop the images but I guess that would probably not work well either. I will just resize all my preview images and make sure to have a consistent size from now on. Thanks for the help again guys :)

Hi Yigit,
That code makes a minimum height for the entire entry, not just the image. so what happens is that when the image is bigger than that height, it gets cut off and then the title of the post, the date and the “read more” link underneath it get removed.
I have left it as is so you can see what happens. Please let me know if there is a way to just put a maximum height on the images.
