It sounds like something in your main install has gotten corrupted which is causing the output error. If all else is equal and it works but it isn’t on the main install you could try uninstalling bbPress (not deactivate).
So when you duplicate your site and add it in (i’m guessing either via an xml or database export) it brings over the same error.
March 18, 2014 at 7:16 pm in reply to: Can't Find Responsive Dropdown Nav Menu Only Hamburger in 2.6.1 #239557Hi Reidable!
Yes it was removed but unfortunately there is no way to add it back in. The support javascript was removed from the theme and the new header layouts have no css for it either.
Cheers!
DevinMarch 18, 2014 at 7:14 pm in reply to: iPad and iPhone page links not working – **URGENT UNRESOLVED ** #239555No, just the plugins. I’ll ask Kriesi to re-take a look at this topic and your site though I think he has already pushed this next update over to ThemeForest for release.
Hi!
For both questions you should really talk to your hosting provider first. The php.ini location depends on the exact server setup and some hosts don’t even allow you to use it. The htaccess file may or may not allow you to make the required changes again depending on your hosting provider.
Cheers!
DevinIs there any other information on where that was changed, when, etc?
Hi!
Talk to your hosting provider about sending mail through php and the php mail function which WordPress uses. Typically hosts will have limitations on how mail gets sent out from servers or need to adjust settings if they have automatic filters or protections in place.
Regards,
DevinHey iamspud5!
You are running a very old version of the theme and you will need to update just like you do plugins for new WordPress releases and bug fixes.
When updating you will likely need to fix quite a few layout errors that will arise since the feature changes, layouts, options and general theme has changed and expanded so much since April of last year.
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Regards,
DevinHey!
Exact steps for it are beyond what we can do via support but if its a must have customization you can follow Ismael’s link above for Werkpress or try Codeable or Microlancer.
Regards,
DevinHi anweb!
You can add the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
#top.tax-product_cat .page-thumb { display: none; }
Cheers!
DevinHey Kimberlyjo!
None that I know of. You could try asking on StackOverflow or something like that to see if in general there is a way to overcome the viewport meta setting which tells mobile phones to display content at a specific width and disable pinch to zoom functionality.
Cheers!
DevinMarch 18, 2014 at 4:07 am in reply to: iPad and iPhone page links not working – **URGENT UNRESOLVED ** #239117Hi @Swarez,
Can you disable all plugins on your test site when using the css rule and then try things again?
If it isn’t working leave theme inactive so Kriesi can take another look.

DevinMarch 18, 2014 at 4:01 am in reply to: LayerSlider Shortcode not working – was working until I added another shortcode #239114Hey!
The LayerSlider is a fullwidth element only within the theme. I’m not sure on the specifics of why but Kriesi has commented on it a number of times and said that the way he has it implemented is that its a full width element and so the drag and drop editor only allows it to be added in as its own fullwidth element in a layout.
Regards,
DevinKriesi merged the change into the core so it will be fixed in the next rollout.
Open the link in a new tab or copy the text:
https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes
The LayerSlider plugin isn’t our own code and so we don’t have any docs for it. There is already included documentation with LayerSlider if you click on the help tab on the top right of any LayerSlider section though it isn’t in depth.
Hey!
A freelance developer would be best in this case. Unless you separately buy a license for LayerSlider they don’t offer any support: http://codecanyon.net/item/layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin-/1362246
Best regards,
DevinTheme version sent so I’m closing the topic for now. Kriesi fully removed the supporting javascript for the dropdown mobile menu with 2.6 so it isn’t at all possible to use it with a further version of the theme right now.
Any other issues or topics can be asked as a new topic.
Regards,
Devin
Hi!
Not quite. The av_one_sixth class is 1/6 of 100% space. The av_one_fifth class is 1/5 of 100% etc. So you could have any configuration of those classes to equal 100% (6 av_one_sixth divs for instance).
The builder however doesn’t have a one sixth element that is support right now.
Regards,
DevinHi Shabnam83!
There unfortunately is not a fix or anything we can do to help. The form builder does not have that capability at this time which is why we suggest using another plugin for more in depth forms or where you need to add in hidden fields for tracking/other mechanism.s
Cheers!
DevinHi!
For the short term no, there isn’t a quick fix for it. The lightbox script is prettyPhoto which just doesn’t have swipe or specific mobile support at this time.
The left/right navigation areas take up 50% of the space on each side of the image for navigation which is why you can click to navigate. On mobile I believe its removed since it was causing user not to be able to close the lightbox effectively.
Some time ago Kriesi was looking for a new lightbox script but I don’t think anything ever came of it (yet).
Regards,
DevinHey erwanpia!
Yes that is correct. So few users use the custom.css that it hasn’t been highlighted yet but I had to do the same to the main style.css so it was properly enqueued in child themes.
Cheers!
DevinMarch 17, 2014 at 8:44 pm in reply to: BBPress page for a topic looks different from the demo #238980Hi!
With the number of plugins active it could be almost anything. Looking at the source of your site there are two different SEO plugins running and as Peter mentioned at least one error with the bbPress output.
You can try deactivating all plugins (clear your caching plugins cache first) and then check the formatting at the start with no other possible conflicts active. Then re-activate plugins one by one to pinpoint the conflict.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
My guess is that the plugin didn’t migrate the slider data correctly in the first place. Either by a incorrect serialized string or just in error.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
I’ve asked Kriesi to look into this as I’m getting it not only on Safari now but others as well.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
Thank you for the updated URL. It typically takes Kriesi quite a while to respond to topics tagged for him so it could be some time before he is able to respond.
Cheers!
DevinMarch 17, 2014 at 8:16 pm in reply to: COLOR SECTION; Easy Slider; HEADINGS; HEADER with scroll; SIDE MENU CSS #238963There isn’t any documentation available that would help as this is basic css inheritance. You target the items with specific selectors and then give declarations as needed.
I’m going to close this topic for now as its gotten far too out of hand for what we support here on the forums. Codeablie.io, Microlancer or even http://kriesi.at/contact/customization are all great resources for getting individual elements of a theme customized if you aren’t comfortable with the css or php needed but it isn’t something we are able to offer.
March 17, 2014 at 5:34 pm in reply to: Should i update Child theme through WordPress Dashboard or parent theme in ftp? #238852Hey chromeToaster!
You can update from the child theme or update the parent over FTP.
Best regards,
DevinUltimately its up to Kriesi and he has been tagged on the topic.
March 17, 2014 at 9:09 am in reply to: Stretch to Fit for Color Section Video Mobile Screen Fall Back #238544Glad we could help :)
I’ll be doing another round of videos on how to use all the video content since it seems to have stablized so hopefully it will be more clear for others down the road!
Hey!
That kind of assistance is beyond what we can offer through support. There are so many variables that can go into a sites speed and any one by itself will help but not solve it completely.
Compressing your images is typically the first and best thing to do followed by caching. Making sure your home page content isn’t too heavy on effect, slideshows, images and overall longer to load content is important as well.
The most important part is your server. A slow server or one on a shared hosting plan can have variable load times depending on the current server strain. In that regard there is no fix but with everything else there is room for improvement.
Best regards,
DevinOn that fullscreen slider element where you added the url to your mp4 video there is a button just under that field for “Choose fallback image for mobile devices”.
