Hey!
It doesn’t actually have a background, its the main div on the site that has a background. You could remove it with:
#main { background: transparent; }
Cheers!
DevinYou have the option selected to hide mobile menu Submenu items in the Header Layout>Mobile Menu settings.
Hey nerkasa!
Looks like your syntax may just be off. If your custom class is “my-call-to-action-element” then your css would be:
#top .my-call-to-action-element { /*the css*/ }
The “effect” is the class name and since you don’t have one in your html then the rules would just not be applied to anything. The css declarations (whats inside the brackets) is what does the styling to whatever selectors (the class and #top) are.
The :after and :before are the pseudo classes on whatever your custom class name is.
Cheers!
DevinYes, aside from the options in the Blog Layout tab in the theme options that would be it:

The image used in the demo are not licensed for re-distribution. Only those that are already included in the demo data are licensed for redistribution inside of the theme.
The initial setup and import should go something like this with the basic slideshows already setup for you (and those are the only ones we have any way of sharing):

This will be fixed in the next release :)

Hi slingfly!
The feature was added in with version 2.7. You need to update your theme files to get the new options.
Best regards,
DevinHi Jonathan!
It looks like the root of the issue is the theme version being incredibly out of date. Because of that I would suggest a bit more of a precautionary update that normal. First make a backup of your WordPress database using a tool like http://wordpress.org/plugins/backupwordpress/ or if your host has a site snapshot/backup program.
Then take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Once updated you may need to do some re-configuration with LayerSlider as that was updated to their newest version and users had some issues with the data transitioning.
Cheers!
DevinHey henningtillmann!
You would need to customize the single.php file and its corresponding css/meta boxes. The theme doesn’t currently support any other form of customization for the single post layouts.
Cheers!
DevinMay 1, 2014 at 10:33 pm in reply to: Menu buttons with background images in two stages – not visited and visited #259086Hi mar10nlund!
While its definitely possible, it isn’t something we could assist in customizing. Your best route would be to look into a freelance developer from somewhere like Codeable or Envato Studio.
Regards,
DevinHi!
Can we see the site and issue live? As far as I know there was no change in the blog post image thumb size.
As a general fyi, our queue system goes by oldest post to newest so each time you self bump a post it actually pushes the topic to the end of our queue.

DevinMay 1, 2014 at 10:26 pm in reply to: Show images in portfolio entry with correct aspect ratio when using gallery-view #259083Hey gerdrosenauer!
Images in WordPress can be a bit tricky. The thumbnail sizes that get generated and then used will adjust based on the longest edge of your image in regards to the thumbnail size set by the theme or WordPress. You can use a plugin like this one to adjust the sizes and regenerate the images (you must do this step for any changes to show): http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Best regards,
DevinHi!
That isn’t something that can be easily done unfortunately. You would need to re-do the media queries in the themes css files to fully change when the theme responds to various viewports.
For that depth of customization you would need a freelance developer to assist you as it isn’t something we can do through support.

DevinHey Laureninthailand!
Once you make an account with the same email you have for your WordPress account here: https://www.gravatar.com/ it will then show up as part of your WordPress avatar.

DevinHi iaemedia!
No, not at the moment but you can request it as a feature request here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
Best regards,
DevinHi!
Depending on the tablet and browser the parallax effect may be disabled if its unable to render. I checked on this for another user and Kriesi responded to verify here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/no-parallax-effect-in-mobile-devices/#post-259000
For the other issue, can we see the page live?
Best regards,
DevinHey ewerde!
Nothing needs to be activated by the users. The print.css file will change the layout and content to help make it better for printing. Its still getting updated but helps give a good baseline for printing.
Cheers!
DevinI’m not sure what the difference could be but using the exact same layout I don’t get the issue. If you have a fix in place that is working for you then it might be a non-issue unless it re-surfaces later on.
May 1, 2014 at 8:40 pm in reply to: Replace toggle icon with another entypo-fontello font OR use a png #259039Hey!
Try going through the steps again. I just tested this with 2.7 by changing the value in the enfold functions.php to get the three lines code instead of the default one:
'mobile_menu' => array( 'font' =>'entypo-fontello', 'icon' => 'ue811')
Cheers!
DevinHi Gary!
I can’t speak for the tools accuracy but the slideshows on your page will show up on all devices.
You can also use chromes dev tools to render a site in most major modern devices and environments. Just keep in mind that with LayerSlider specifically it does not automatically make the slideshow look great for mobile devices. It takes some fiddling with the plugins settings.Cheers!
DevinHi Holger!
What setting do you have for your blog site wide from the theme options in Blog Layout> Blog Style? The paragraph tags are still in place on your category view though its hard to tell what has been added in and how to get an idea of where the difference could be coming from.
Cheers!
DevinHi softronix_ltd!
Yes, see: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-your-own-icon-fonts/
Cheers!
DevinMay 1, 2014 at 7:23 pm in reply to: how can I make the title for each portfolio entry 18 point? #259015If you are using a child theme then you need to first tell the child theme to recognize and use your own shortcode versions. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-new-or-replace-advanced-layout-builder-elements-from-child-theme/
Otherwise the directory replacement does nothing and is ignored.
May 1, 2014 at 6:09 am in reply to: After 2.7 upgrade Partner/Logo Element disappears when scrolling on Chrome 34 #258748Hi lanceleasure!
Is this with a specific OS? I’m not getting the issue with Windows and the current version of Chrome.
Best regards,
DevinHey Jay!
I have not yet done the written part yet but I did a video walkthrough of using the new Advanced Styling options that should help here: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/92502063
Best regards,
DevinHey addwebtoday!
I’m not getting the text cut off issue currently but there are a bunch of images that are trying to get loaded in from your sc.preview.addwebtoday.com . That is probably the issue where the iphone is crashing.
Best regards,
DevinHey Raul!
You can edit the translation file using a plugin like this one: http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
Best regards,
DevinHi!
I can really only guess on this one but since its WP Engine hosted perhaps they have the editor cached and its only pulling the default image sizes when using the regular Media editor.
In the Advanced Layout Editor mode the image sizes appear correctly when adding in an image using elements and an image inside of them so there is something else causing a conflict with the regular media element.
Regards,
DevinHi!
While the images individually aren’t very large, the server just isn’t able to handle them all loading in at once quick enough for the masonry script to respond.
So once they have been loaded any browser resize event will recalculate the position of all the elements correctly but otherwise some get the errors you see.
You have really only a few options: move servers to one with a faster load time or decrease the number of images loaded before you need to click load more.
