Understandable and with 2.8.1 to 2.9.1 there should be no issues. The only one we’ve ever had a big non-backwards type issue with was when the new header layout options were added and Kriesi had to remove the old dropdown menu style for mobile.
The change log will highlight all changes as well http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990#item-description__changelog
August 7, 2014 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Upload new web fonts / Change fonts for sub-menu titles #301336Hi cerasel!
If you mean add another google font then you can do so via a function: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-google-fonts-plural/#post-166980
The web safe fonts are standard web fonts that aren’t loaded in by the theme and are instead set as css values since they are “standard” and available on most users computers.
For the sub menu you would need to use a css snippet. Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
#top #wrap_all .av-main-nav .sub-menu li { font-family: Times New Roman; }
Best regards,
DevinHi!
Looking at the site right now I’m not seeing any missing images on your home page slideshow. Is it still happening for you and if so which images specifically, what browser+OS.
Best regards,
DevinHey Diego!
The only things you would need to worry about is if you are using a child theme that you’ve customized theme files through (for example replacing the header.php) or if you’ve modified the theme files directly already.
Otherwise you can update without issue.
Cheers!
DevinGlad we could help :)
Looking through the “clean” install there are actually quite a few plugins installed *through* Jetpack. The extension installed with it called Photon is most likely causing your issues. It will try and auto-cache images and seems to do it in a way that is not workable for the slideshow.
Edit: I can navigate between urls ;)

What is the current issue on /backup/ ?
Right now the home page looks exactly as it should after a dummy data import:

I can’t seem to find a reason why the incorrect skin is showing. Try doing a quick re-install of the theme on top of the current live one so that all the files are replaced and updated. Follow the same steps as in this video: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

DevinAugust 7, 2014 at 7:54 pm in reply to: still having issue with ie8 layer slider first image is distorted #301296Hey edebe!
I don’t know about XP as I no longer have a desktop to test it on but with IE8 on W7 and Vista I’m not getting either of the issues.
Is IE8 and XP fully up to date (as much it can be)?
Cheers!
DevinHey eyesforlies!
As I mentioned in your other topic it sounds like there is something else causing a conflict with your installations. Either server side or with an automatically installed plugin.
If we can get admin credentials for the installations having the issue, both the new and old, we can check into it a bit more.
Cheers!
DevinHi Tech!
There should be an extension to do that so try checking the WordPress plugin repository and the WooCommerce extensions. The theme however doesn’t have anything built in to support that kind of functionality.
Regards,
DevinHi!
If there are any server side settings or plugins that come preinstalled try deactivating them when installing the theme. Reading through the topic it sounds like there might be a conflict there but its hard to say for sure without seeing it first hand and poking through the LayerSlider slideshows settings.
It could also be a server side issue with a library but LayerSlider would typically let you know via a notice in the admin so its not as likely here.
Cheers!
DevinHi TheToonPlanet!
For that gallery have you set the option for them to open in a lightbox? It looks like they are set to open the image url directly.
Best regards,
DevinThe auto updates are new but it will only update for minor releases: http://codex.wordpress.org/Configuring_Automatic_Background_Updates
Enfold updates semi regularly and will be getting a significant update some time soon. You can get a sense of the timing over the past year via the changelog here: http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990#item-description__changelog
Hey netchoice!
If you check the box on your featured image to make it not display on the single page then you can add in the image right into the content area of the post so that it appears under the text.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
It isn’t using any framework actually. All of the css is inside of the css folder however so you can check there for the grid, base, and layout styles as needed.
Your screenshot looks pretty simple though so unless you needed to build the page outside of WordPress you should be able to create it using the layout builder: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927358
Regards,
DevinHi!
While possible its really not something we can walk you through via support. The file would need to be custom created by a freelance developer so that you can point to it as needed.
Regards,
DevinHi doze!
Make sure you are using Enfold version 2.9.1 and it will be in the “Layout” meta box on the right hand side of the page when editing a page.
Cheers!
DevinCan you post the font file you are trying to use on dropbox or something like that. Then provide admin credentials to your site here as a private reply.
We’ll be able to log in and test things out to see whats going on from there.
Hey deeluuxe!
Where can we see the site with the issue?
Best regards,
DevinHi!
The slider will fill whatever container that it is inside of. So if you add in columns before adding in the slideshow then it will only fill up the column it is inside of.
Cheers!
DevinHi!
Do you have a page showing the playlist added into a code block as a shortcode? Or added to the regular visual editor?
Regards,
DevinHey!
On this page: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-anchors-to-your-page-for-single-page-navigation/
There is an image showing where you’ll add the text which will output as your anchors. That will be on each Color Section element added in via the drag and drop editor.
Regards,
DevinHi!
As far as I know that plugin or any of the others that try and assist with limiting image uploading are your best and only option in this case.
Best regards,
DevinIt should be full size based on the settings. So setting the background to stretch to fit.
Hey!
The WordPress update should have no effect on the theme. Its a security update so go ahead and update asap :)
We don’t have any premium support but you can hire a WordPress developer for a one hour consult over at Codeable. That way you can get all of your questions answered one on one.
Also take a look at http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

DevinI tried logging in with the above credentials but it didn’t work for me.

DevinAugust 6, 2014 at 5:23 pm in reply to: Keeping a layer across several slides in Advanced Layerslider #300774Hi Ivana!
Its been asked about quite a few times but unfortunately there isn’t any option for that available.

DevinHi ElementArt!
Yes, go to the theme options and then the Header Layout tab. The header layout can be customized from there and one of the options is to put the logo in the middle of the header.
Edit: Just realized you might have meant directly in the middle of the items and not in the middle above them. In that case it would need to be customized by a freelance developer to make the css changes on the specific items and devices views.
