Hey Melinda!
The function didn’t change in the last update. Make sure you’ve added it in just as you see on the docs page here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
Regards,
DevinHi bigtime32!
Go to your theme options and then the Demo Import tab. From there you can select any of the demos to import in.

DevinOctober 9, 2014 at 8:20 am in reply to: Can you develop integration for Fotomoto so I can sell prints, etc. #333017Hey mspomer!
You can suggest new features here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
If its something you would like to have customized I would recommend hiring a freelance developer from somewhere like Codeable or Envato Studio.
Regards,
DevinHey!
What browser is this with? Tested on my MBP just now and am having no issues.
Regards,
DevinMake sure once again that you have downloaded version 3.0.1 from ThemeForest and then try deleting the theme entirely and re-uploading it to your themes folder.
The error was specifically addressed in 2.9.2 and beyond.
Hey!
The first two things would be to deactivate all active plugins and then update the theme again over FTP so that all old files are written over completely: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Regards,
DevinHi!
I’ll ask Kriesi to comment on removing the option.
For the function change to remove the customization, please re-read what I posted: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-3-0-and-tribe-events-calendar-3-8/#post-329763
Remove that line, don’t add it.
Regards,
DevinHi!
If this is a must have feature you can have it customized for you by a freelance developer from somewhere like Codeable. The single product page simply isn’t set up to be as flexible as regular pages and doesn’t have a left/right sidebar option.
The sidebar will always be below the product images on the left unless it is customized to work differently.
Regards,
DevinThis is the kind of question that is actually very difficult for us to answer. There is no single right way as it depends entirely on what you are doing.
You can network activate the theme and then make separate child themes for each instance *if that is right for you. You could also network active the parent and child to be used by everything new site setup.
The theme in this case is a non-issue and its really more dependent on your usage of the multisite setup. If you are unsure on what is best practice I would recommend a short consultation with a WordPress developer to go over your specific use.
No matter what, you’ll setup the theme options for each site the theme is installed on.
October 8, 2014 at 2:18 am in reply to: Is there an option to use a fullscreen slider and randomise the images #332023Hi!
No unfortunately not. LayerSlider doesn’t have a fullscreen option I’m aware of that works exactly like the themes version.
It shouldn’t be more than 1-2 hours for a freelance developer to create a custom version of the fullscreen slideshow element if it is a must-have feature however.

DevinHey All!
I’m going to close out this topic for now as a small update has already rolled out and the posts adding in here at this point really need their own topic so we can address them individually.
So please make sure to create a topic for any issue you are running into so we can address it there :)
Regards,
DevinHi Julie!
You would need to configure each instance of the theme on your multisite. The child theme would reflect whatever changes are in it but it doesn’t automatically reflect a parent theme or any customization of the theme options without manual changes.
Regards,
DevinIt isn’t something that Kriesi wants to change from what he has mentioned so far. The new styling is how he wanted to integrate it and removing the styling is the preferred method for not using the changes.
Hey!
Yes, it changes all settings to that of the imported data. There is no other way to change/import in a demo.

DevinOctober 8, 2014 at 2:09 am in reply to: Enfold 3.01 Update – Single product page layout blown up… #332013Hi Mark!
Clear any cache you have and we can take a look at the url live if its available. So far anyone who has had the issue also reports it goes away without any changes which typically is a caching error symptom.
Regards,
DevinHey rene!
I’m not quite sure what it is you are asking. The portfolio slug options can be managed from the WordPress permalinks but beyond that I’m just not sure what you are having issues with.
Cheers!
DevinHi Frank!
Make sure you have sidebars enabled (either left or right) from the main theme options for sidebars on pages.

Write over them completely when doing the update.

DevinHi!
Looks like we’ll need to revisit the single product page layout snippet. For now I’ve removed it from the documentation. The previous code snippets were done as an example so for now if its a must-have customization you can look into a freelance developer from Envato Studio, Codeable or something like that.

DevinOctober 7, 2014 at 10:16 pm in reply to: Single product page with right-sidebar not showing up #331917Hey yojiabe!
It looks like we’ll need to re-take a look at the functions with the new layout. Unfortunately the single product layout is not something support covers as a customization. The previous code snippets were done as an example so for now if its a must-have customization you can look into a freelance developer from Envato Studio, Codeable or something like that.

DevinHey!
Glad its cleared up for you. I didn’t realize the entry for home and blog wasn’t clear enough already so I’ll see about adding more: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/setting-your-home-and-blog-pages/
Cheers!
DevinHi!
This is the firs report I’ve seen with any issues about uploading images so it would most likely be a specific server setting rather than a general WordPress and theme conflict right now.
If possible, check with your hosting provider again just to make sure nothing has changed on the server either with settings or folder permissions or even php extensions/settings.

DevinOctober 5, 2014 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Unable to load Enfold Demo following WordPress v4.0 update #330487Hi TDR_ent16!
Are you using Enfold version 3.0 locally? Enfold 2.9.2+ is needed to work on WordPress 4.0 because of a change in the updated WordPress version.

It appears on both and doesn’t look to have actually been turned off from the theme settings. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-the-footer-text-and-link/

DevinOctober 5, 2014 at 4:58 am in reply to: ENFOLD SINGLE PRODUCT PAGE- SIDEBAR WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE RIGHT #330369Hey MichaelT1!
Support scope does not cover customizing the single product page layouts. I know that the settings aren’t clear, that the theme doesn’t modify the WooCommerce pages like that, but the documentation is only meant as a starting point and I added the changes so that the page was easily customized through a child theme for those that needed it.
The setting of the sidebar to sidebar_right has to do with getting a css class on to the sidebar and not its position into the page. The functions are still there and it can still be modified using the code snippet I added to the documentation to move the sidebar to the side of the page.
The only area it wont work right now is if you are using a left menu site layout. On my live dev site using 3.0 I have a child theme active and the entire code pasted into my functions.php file. The sidebar on my products page is on the right of everything else.
Cheers!
DevinOctober 5, 2014 at 4:46 am in reply to: Webfont performance issue — please comment on what fonts.com says #330368Hi Ben!
The theme loads all scripts through WordPress via wp_enqueue_script. That means WordPress handles the loading of scripts in and gives each script the priority it needs.
This insures that all plugins that also correctly load in scripts for your site can work in the same way: letting WordPress handle it.
We did not load in your custom font choice and so we have no control over where you loaded it into the header. If you look at your own head in the source of your site you can see that the advice they are giving is already being followed by the theme except where performance can better be served by loading js files at the end of the document (not relevant but I wont leave it out of this description).
If you want the script to prevent flickering to load before everything else the solutions is to move it in your header.php file to before the wp_head content gets output.
Cheers!
DevinHi kimogroup!
I’m not seeing any issues when viewing the site. Is it at a specific screen size or on a specific browser/os?

DevinOctober 4, 2014 at 2:41 am in reply to: Back and Forth Between Default and Advanced Layout Editor #330024Very cool! If you have not already I would suggest turning on the custom class field for all of the layout builder elements:http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/
That way you can add additional css wrappers to elements in your layout and tweak them with custom css if needed.
Hey!
Yep, definitely out of what we can assist with via support in this case.
Without some additional background information on whats going on its actually still a bit hazy for me anyhow :(
For me, I would add this to a small custom plugin or maybe a function to be called with a shortcode instead of trying to embed it into a page from the WordPress admin.
Best regards,
