@ anyone having issues on OSX, do you have Quicktime installed? How about VLC or any other video codecs?
February 12, 2014 at 5:17 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222893What version of Chrome are you using? I get no difference between the two pages and there should be no difference in general.
And with IE11, make sure that it isn’t in compatibility mode as some users have had issues with IE doing that lately and it causing issues.
For each response if you all could include a link to your page showing the video issue it would be very very helpful. I’d rather not have everyone in a separate topic so this way we can make sure we aren’t confusing anyones sites and trying to diagnose overlapping issues.
So just add the site url to the end of each response if you can each time you respond (just in this topic). Thank you :)
Very strange. I’ve now checked it across all of my computers here and have had no issues with your sites video on my end. I can’t imagine why it would work for me and not you.
I’ve asked the other support crew to check on their end as well as Kriesi.
Hi CivilC!
Looks like you tried to install the full enfold package instead of just the theme files instead. Go into your themes folder via FTP and then remove the license folder, the _MACOSX folder, the documentation folder and the psd_files folder.
Then you can re-install/update following this video: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/#video
Best regards,
DevinHey Lynn!
Just as a general aside, support is not for customization services. We do what we can but in general support does not cover customization beyond what the theme elements offer. We will very often help anyway but if the queues get long we’ll opt out of it so that bugs/issues can get addressed.
I’m not sure why the topics were closed but we’ve had issues with them getting closed automatically when they shouldn’t.
As for the issues:
- LayerSlider is a plugin that is included in the theme. It does not have a function to be hidden on mobile. This isn’t a bug and it isn’t advertised as doing this. You can hire someone to add in this kind of functionality if its a must-have feature for you.
- Custom buttons added by a user into areas not designed for them would fall under customization the user is responsible for. You can easily use media queries to customize them as needed if you are at all familiar with media queries and css. Going through your topics I can see that you are not which is why I can understand that it has been difficult for you to solve. I would recommend you looking into a freelance developer from either Codeable or Microlancer. It shouldn’t be more than 30 minutes of a task to get the positioning sorted out.
- Changes are only unstable if added in incorrectly or if there is an issue with a specific change.
- Page speed on any WordPress premium theme is a huge topic by itself. Lots of images, image optimization, server speed and active plugins are a huge factor and by itself the theme score pretty well with yslow and others. You do not *need* to have a CDN or to even minify the css/js files.
So again, I don’t know why your topics were closed by please understand that it was free customization and not support that you were getting and asking for.

DevinFebruary 12, 2014 at 4:43 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222868Hey!
I think the issue that you are seeing was actually the alignment of the image in the color section. I set it to be Centered both vertically and horizontally as well as stretch to fit so that it takes up the whole color section background.
I also added column elements to your HR element so they aren’t outside of the grid and have more even spacing.
There was also a stray HR element in one of the icon boxes but not the others so it made them look uneven.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
This video shows as disabled embeding by request of the author: http://www.seeitfeelit.nl/
I just tested in Safari7.0.1 on my MBP and had no issues with:http://fremtidensform.staging.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine) or http://www.blackbeltacademy.info/test/
I have no idea why it wouldn’t appear to work on your end. Can you try refreshing your local cache, trying in incognito/private browsing and make sure there are generally no other factors involved?
Best regards,
DevinHey!
As far as I know this is how Safari/iOS treats hover states. They get set to active until clicked off of but as a user you don’t typically need to do that unless you decide not to navigate. Using it on a one page layout the user would need to since they aren’t refreshing the page.
Regards,
DevinHi!
The video script will load in multiple video files as needed as long as they are in the same directory with the same name as the video url you add in.
I touch on that briefly in the Color Section video here http://vimeo.com/86284134
Cheers!
DevinHi ronald-fong!
Can you add your login details as a private reply here so we can log in and take a look at exactly how the portfolio items are set?
Best regards,
Devin@Richard – I’m having no issues when viewing your site at the moment. Is this with a specific browser/OS combination?
@Synne – What version of Firefox, Safari and what is the page and vimeo link?Hey!
Just a quick addition to this, that specific layout would not be possible on the single product page. The full width and fullscreen elements aren’t avialable outside the avia layout editor.
For single product pages the theme has a hands off approach so that WooCommerce extensions will be able to have continued compatibility with the theme and the theme with WooCommerce.
So unfortunately, single product pages just don’t have the ability to be fully styled in the same way as portfolio items and regular pages.
Regards,
DevinNow that 2.5 is out can you try updating and then re-setting the settings on that page. We had someone else with a somewhat similar issue but updating seems to have cleared it up.
Hey rocky06!
You can change the permalink(slug name in this case technically) setting on your pages just under the page title on any given page. For the individual portfolio slug you can change in your WordPress Settings>Permalink area.
Cheers!
DevinHi!
If you log out of your account you can see the reply is marked as private.
For your issue, if it isn’t working using the WordPress video shortcode you can try using the themes shortcode instead. For reference, here is WordPress’s shortcode information: https://codex.wordpress.org/Video_Shortcode

DevinFebruary 12, 2014 at 2:37 am in reply to: Full screen slideshow issues – looks bad on mobiles #222486Hey!
The site looks correct as far as I can tell. The fullscreen slideshow is meant to always be fullscreen which does crop the background images depending on the viewers size.

DevinHi Smaskit6!
You could purchase a license for the client so that they are able to update it within the theme. A single license is only good for one site so you wouldn’t be able to use the same license on multiple client sites anyway.
As far as I know there isn’t a function to remove the option in the theme options right now however.

DevinFebruary 11, 2014 at 11:42 pm in reply to: After updating, images in columns are no longer responsive? #222429Looks like it was pulled out of the grid or the inheritance got messed up a bit. You can add this to your custom.css file inside of the mobile only media query:
#top .flex_column.av_one_third { width: 100%; margin-left: 0; }
February 11, 2014 at 10:58 pm in reply to: Updated to latest version of Enfold and now having menu errors #222414Hi jcjones08!
Try first switching to one of the default WordPress themes and see if your Menus manager works then. If so, re-install the theme like you would an update but over FTP instead of from the theme options.

DevinHey Andrea!
For right now the ajax view customization is limited and does not offer anything on the front end as far as customization.
Best regards,
Devin@mmichael1991 – I would suggest for now to change them to fixed backgrounds. I need to talk to Kriesi to confirm but it looks like the parallax setting uses the content within the color section to establish a movement baseline. Eg, where the eye would see the change in perspective.
Edit: Try updating the theme with the most recent version on ThemeForest. It should be 2.5.1. Kriesi said it should work even with nothing inside. If 2.5.1 isn’t up on ThemeForest yet it should be soon.

Hey butsie!
It does in fact work and you can watch this video as an example of it working:
If you can provide a link to your page where it isn’t and the video which you are trying to embed we can take a look at what might be going on.
Regards,
DevinHey jmaguirrei!
You’ll need more content on the page to really see any difference.
Regards,
DevinHey!
Can we see your site and an example? The order should allow for your styles to take priority but it may be as simple as giving yours an additional selector like #top or something like that.
Best regards,
DevinUpdate your theme to the most recent version which should fix the issues that I can see when checking it in IE8.
We’ll need to know the information about the device to be able to try and debug that further.
Hi!
The update api checks every 12 hours for updates. You can either update manually or wait for your dashboard to show the update.
Cheers!
DevinFebruary 11, 2014 at 10:29 pm in reply to: After updating, images in columns are no longer responsive? #222399Hi D5WDesignGroup!
There was a change with how column content is rendered but it doesn’t remove responsive support. Can you provide a link to the page?
Best regards,
DevinHi covertross!
HTML within the table items isn’t supported. The way the theme outputs the mobile tables is that it rebuilds the raw data into a new table.
You can instead target the table items and style/center them with css or the table options. Ex:
#top.page-id-2805 .avia-table-1 td { text-align: center; }
Which targets that specific page by its ID and then that table.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
If you have a color section with a minimum height it gets this css which casues fade in effect:
.js_active .av-minimum-height .container { opacity: 0; -webkit-transition: opacity 0.6s ease-in; -moz-transition: opacity 0.6s ease-in; -o-transition: opacity 0.6s ease-in; -ms-transition: opacity 0.6s ease-in; transition: opacity 0.6s ease-in; }
You can add the same to your Quick CSS or custom.css file and change the opacity value to 1 to cancel it out.
Cheers!
