November 28, 2016 at 11:09 pm in reply to: How to add own icon fonts, that are NOT at FONTELLO or FLATICON? #718034
Thank you, Nikko, I tried it, but when I try to use the “iconbox” element, then the icons of this “Simple Line Icon” fonts from here https://github.com/thesabbir/simple-line-icons are shown as weird symbols:
Do I need to do anything else?
I have simply downloaded the ZIP from this link and uploaded it “as is” in the ENFOLD theme settings like it is described in your video tutorial.The ZIP file contains:
Don’t know if I need all this stuff?
Any idea please? Thank you!
And here is a huge collection of sites using ENFOLD, I recently discovered here in the forum https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-showcase/#post-628744, obviously @felipepavao has created it:
There are a lot of showcase sites showing ENFOLD:
- https://themetix.com/enfold/
- https://colorlib.com/wp/example-websites-using-enfold-theme/
- http://winningwp.com/examples-of-sites-built-with-the-wordpress-enfold-theme-by-kriesi/
By the way: your EventCalendar link is an affiliate link, I can’t imagine, that the forum admins like this
@tashi-11
wow, this is very, very beautiul!!!Yes, I’m from Germany – I don’t see anything
@jobmknight
https://shortsugars.com/ is not accessible; I got this error message: http://screencloud.net/v/ys2S
(Firefox on Windows 7 prof.)wow, really? Never thought to adding there an image title! Thanks a lot, works fine now!
I don’t understand, Andy, … the TwentySixteen for example, that I tried, has not this (ENFOLD) lightbox.
I guess, that I have the same issue that he has it here:
Hi Vinay, sorry, I changed the PW. Please see the private data above, now the login data are right, sorry.
And according to your answer you gave today someone other, who has the same problem:
I have already downloaded ENFOLD yesterday new from Themeforest, but this does not solved this issue.June 2, 2016 at 4:48 pm in reply to: MASONRY GALLERY: first image "place" is empty when I set a fixed height/width #642143ups, sorry, I reloaded my page now several times again, and now the empty place is gone … great, it is working now, thank you!!!
June 2, 2016 at 4:46 pm in reply to: MASONRY GALLERY: first image "place" is empty when I set a fixed height/width #642142Thank you, Vinay, but this does not work, this empty place is still there.
I cleared my brower’s (Firefox) cache, but still the same …That’s a good idea, thank you, Ismael.
June 2, 2016 at 1:35 pm in reply to: MASONRY GALLERY: first image "place" is empty when I set a fixed height/width #642048Hi Ismael,
sorry, no, it is not resolved. I uploaded yesterday a fresh ENFOLD and forgot to add the QuickCSS in the theme settings:
.av-masonry-entry { height: 180px !important; width: 180px !important; } .av-masonry-outerimage-container { margin: 7px; } .av-inner-masonry { border: 1px solid #e1e1e1; }
Could you please check again that page?
With the fix height and width for the masonry entry thumbnails, the first “place” of them is empty:@AirstreamCoach:
have you solved this and could you please tell me, how?
I have exactly the same problem, that <div class=”mfp-title”></div> is empty.Hi,
I haven’t contact Wordfence yet, because this happens only with ALB elements and ENFOLD, not on normal posts or pages, that are NOT created with ALB, and NOT with TwentySixteen theme, for example (all other plugins disabled).
@Welmoed, first try to make your changes, which are not working right.
Then go to the settings of Wordfence -> Live Traffic, there you can see, what Wordfence blocked – and there you can whitelist this:
http://screencloud.net/v/hktkBut this doesn’t helped in my case :-(
I have the same issue, when I try to re-opening a text block of the ALB to add new text.
Disabling Wordfence solves this, but I won’t let Wordfence disabled all the time.
A whitelisting does not work – clicking in Wordfence’s “Live Traffic” at “whitelist” does not helped.I have exactly the same problem, but /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php cannot be whitelisted by Wordfence – no idea, why.
Could you whitelist it @Welmoed?May 30, 2016 at 11:55 am in reply to: Search results page: how to show readmore link below excerpt and featured image? #640249Thanks, Rikard, the only thing is for me still how to show a read more link below the manual/custom excerpt – see question (1) of my first post here. I wasn’t able to solve this, if you could assist me for this …
Thank you.May 28, 2016 at 10:16 pm in reply to: Search results page: how to show readmore link below excerpt and featured image? #639866I got it, Ismael.
I googled a bit and found this:
https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/get_the_post_thumbnail/So I used the SimpleImageSize-Plugin to create a search-thumbnail size; I called it “searchthumb100” with 100x100px size.
Then in loop-search.php in line 33 I added this size:
$searchthumb = get_the_post_thumbnail( $post_id, $size='searchthumb100', $attr );
and it works fine now:
Thanks for pointing me into the right direction.
May 28, 2016 at 11:50 am in reply to: Search results page: how to show readmore link below excerpt and featured image? #639746Thank you, Ismael, but what should I change there, dont’ understand, sorry …?
For example, I could create an image size for the search thumbnail with the SimpleImageSize-Plugin, let’s say “searchthumb100” for example, which I could make 100x100px.
But where and how in this line of code, you mentioned, should I add this new image size “searchthumb100”?May 26, 2016 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Search results page: how to show readmore link below excerpt and featured image? #638826Concerning the featured image in search results, this solution from the forum works for me – partly:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/add-featured-image-to-search-results/#post-249161
My custom CSS for this are:
.search-result-counter { height: 100px; padding: 0; width: 100px; } .search-result-counter img { width: 100%; height: 100%; border-radius: 100px; } #top .template-search.content .entry-content-wrapper { padding-left: 120px; }
But the featured image, shown in the search counter is distorted/stretched instead of being cropped:
and then take a look please here:
<span class="search-result-counter "> <img class="attachment- size- wp-post-image" width="1310" height="400" sizes="(max-width: 1310px) 100vw, 1310px" srcset="https://xyz.de/studio/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400.jpg 1310w, https://xyz.de/studio/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-300x92.jpg 300w, https://xyz.de/studio/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-768x235.jpg 768w, https://xyz.de/studio/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-1030x315.jpg 1030w, https://xyz.de/studio/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-705x215.jpg 705w, https://xyz.de/studio/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-450x137.jpg 450w" alt="slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400" src="https://xyz.de/studio/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400.jpg"> </span>
outputs obviously image sizes of:
https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400.jpg 1310w, https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-300x92.jpg 300w, https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-768x235.jpg 768w, https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-1030x315.jpg 1030w, https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-705x215.jpg 705w, https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2016/05/slider_ambiente-mint_1310x400-450x137.jpg 450w
I don’t know, where these image sizes, genereated there, are coming from.
Here are all image sizes with my SimpleImageSizes-Plugin:But the custom CSS for the search-counter is 100x100px.
I use the SimpleImageSizes-Plugin – but how should I “tell” the code snippet mentioned above, to use this 100x100px size for the image?Guess, this is the same problem, that someone had here – unfortunately not solved:
The problem seems to be, that the featured image, that come to the search-counter are not properly rendered/cropped/made smaller …
Interesting is, that in the search popup in the menu, the featured images are OK:
Any idea please?
Thank you.May 26, 2016 at 1:17 pm in reply to: How to add "data-pin-nopin" to featured image for no pinning of it (Pinterest)? #638682Hi,
thanks, but this does not solve my question – because I have no pin button.
Using a browser’s Pin button, the user is able to choose the featured image. And this is, what I want to avoid, the featured image should be excluded for being able to be pinned – no matter what Pin option a visitor is using.
So I just need to add this attribute to the featured image output, if you could please tell me where in the loop-index.php (I guess) I should add it. Thanks.
May 24, 2016 at 2:31 pm in reply to: Blog Grid uses portfolio image size: how to change image size and use own? #637481Hi Andy,
I only need to know, what theme file generate the output of the ALB element “Blogbeiträge”, so that I can change there the code to my desire – nothing more :-)
May 23, 2016 at 5:59 pm in reply to: How to remove comma between categories in "Blog Posts" element of ALB? #636995sorry, I’m currently working offline with this site
May 23, 2016 at 4:38 pm in reply to: How to remove comma between categories in "Blog Posts" element of ALB? #636933Hi Josue,
that hides the comments, thanks, but how to delete the comma between the two category names a post is assigned to, please?
This is made, using the ALB element “Blog Beiträge” (in German, don’t know how it is called in the English version):
I guess, I need to edit this in the theme file – but in what theme file please?
Thank you.
No problem, Andy, then I use the blog-grid, thank you!
May 23, 2016 at 4:30 pm in reply to: Blog Grid uses portfolio image size: how to change image size and use own? #636922Hi Andy,
May 23, 2016 at 10:52 am in reply to: Single Post: how to show only single image in the lightbox and not all others? #636677Hi Ismael,
According to 1.)
I defined a title for this image, but this title does not appear in the lightbox:
Title is defined:
<a href="https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/papierarbeit-001.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-square wp-image-3287" src="https://xyz.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/papierarbeit-001-180x180.jpg" alt="papierarbeit-001" width="180" height="180" title="Papierarbeit 1"></a>
but in the lightbox no image title appear (in my example above: “Papierarbeit 1”):
http://screencloud.net/v/4molAccording to 2.)
