Nice work – very engaging :-)
Thanks Rikard!
Here’s another website I recently created using Enfold. My customer didn’t want fancy and slow animations etc. but clarity and speed/performance. So, what do you think? https://suretybondsolutions.net
This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.I like the Divi theme and Page Builder, but there is a very good reason why I have stuck with Enfold for the vast majority of my clients: they want to edit pages themselves. ALB is MUCH more intuitive and simple to use. Yes, Divi can do like anything, but it has a steep learning curve and is almost impossible to throw at people who struggle with WordPress/computers. That’s the true beauty of Enfold. It does more than enough and can be extended and modified, but it’s great for customers who want to change things themselves!
Enfold‘s really a great theme. Here‘s what I made with it: https://www.pelz-gerner.de/
Feedback welcome (always keen to improve and learn).Hi Rikard,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I’ll be updating all the websites soon, after which I guess I won’t be able to toggle between the Visual view of elements and the shortcode view (Code Editor mode). But anyway, I think I’m going to be able to live with seeing the shortcode in debug mode only … Yes, I understand that the shortcode processor is not an error message (and it’s quite useful to know). Still, I think I’ve taken enough of your valuable time, and I do appreciate that a lot. I can get by using debug mode, so THANKS a lot for your help and we can close the ticket now.
Have a great week and thanks a million for helping me get so far over the weekend (!)

I created a TEST page for testing, but it doesn’t matter which page I call up. Could you check the last four images I put in the Mediathek? (they all start with Enfold). You’ll see that the Code Editor view works on a different website (shows the wp-shortcode blocks) and how the same setting on the eu-… website shows no change when switched – it looks just like in Visual Editor mode. I hope that illustrates the issue better.
Best regards
AndrewThis reply has been marked as private.I have one, and it uses Enfold. The only problem is that the owner wanted an extremely flat and boring design, so I don’t showcase it! I will have a really cool one in September for a fashion designer …
Here’s one of my sites, which I did with Enfold. More to come … Hope you like it! https://michellevontreuberg.com
April 24, 2022 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Overlapping text box and graphics in a color section #1349288Thanks Nikko, I will do my homework on CSS Media Queries first. If you need to close this thread, go ahead. If I don’t manage to get the results I need, I would open a new thread with details and a login option for Enfold support. Thanks a lot for your support, which I really appreciate, but I understand that I would have to use separate CSS handling for different media and that there’s no simple solution via Enfold’s built-in elements. So I guess, now it’s up to me!
Best regards
AndrewApril 21, 2022 at 5:45 pm in reply to: Overlapping text box and graphics in a color section #1349051Thanks a million Rikard. You’re right, so I decided to create different sections for difference devices and I believe it’s acceptable. I’m not too knowledgeable about all CSS possibilities but after playing around a bit I think I will finally find settings that are OK for most devices. My difficulty was that placing an image in a column at a fixed px offset didn’t look too good on some devices. Perhaps I can use centering or percentages to improve that (I have to learn a little more CSS).
April 10, 2022 at 8:19 am in reply to: Before and after image plugin that is compatible with Enfold #1347837Hi, can I ask you how you access the functionality of the plugin in Enfold? I could only get the plugin to do anything by embedding the shortcode in a code block, because the element doesn’t show up in the list of placeable objects. That also means that I can’t access any of the options, like changing before and after text labels. The support for the plugin hasn’t responded to me for over a week. If I knew the syntax of the shortcodes I could change the parameters in the code block. So, how did you do it? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can close this. Thanks a lot!

AndrewApril 7, 2022 at 3:40 pm in reply to: Masonry Gallery images always have a slight zoom effect #1347569I forgot that later I did in fact modify a couple of lines in the masonry_entries.css file!
I changed lines 262 and 267 from.avia_desktop .av-hover-overlay-active.av-caption-style-overlay .av-masonry-entry .av-masonry-image-container
{ opacity: 1;}
.avia_desktop .av-masonry-entry:hover .av-masonry-image-container{
-webkit-transform: scale(1.05,1.05);
transform: scale(1.05,1.05);
}to:
.avia_desktop .av-hover-overlay-active .av-caption-style-overlay .av-masonry-entry .av-masonry-image-container
{ opacity: 1;}
.avia_desktop .av-masonry-entry:hover .av-masonry-image-container{
-webkit-transform: scale(1);
transform: scale(1);
}Sorry for forgetting that in my previous comment!
April 7, 2022 at 3:05 pm in reply to: Masonry Gallery images always have a slight zoom effect #1347568Hi Guenni007,
Thanks for taking the time to analyse the issue.
Your solution didn’t work to start with, but I modified the code a little to:/*——–Remove zoom for masonry gallery——–*/
avia_desktop .av-masonry-entry:hover .av-masonry-image-container {
transform: scale(1) !important;
}and then it worked perfectly on my PG test website :-)
BUT the identical change implemented on the pending live site didn’t work. So, I doubled-checked the elements on the two sites are using the same parameters, and I compared the source files in the avia template masonry_entries folder but couldn’t see any differences between the Enfold Version 4.9.2.1 sources and the current ones on the pending live site (Version: 4.8.9.1). So, I guess there’s been a change made somewhere else in the sources of the new theme version (in the Enfold changelog I can see an entry for the masonry gallery in Version 4.9.2).
To recap FYI:
PG test website is running on theme version Version: 4.8.9.1 (fix doesn’t work)
Pending live site is running on Version: 4.9.2.1 (fix works)So, I’ll wait until Version: 4.9.2.1 is officially released and then install that on the pending live site (after a backup – no offense intended ;-).
You’ve helped me by pointing me in the right direction and I can see that with a new release, it would work.
I love the Enfold theme and I think you guys are all doing a fantastic job. So, keep up the good work and the mega support!Best regards
Andrew

I know, I’ve done that. I’ve deleted my cache, have no caching plugins, tried with images 600×400, 845×684 and no scaling. I’ve tried putting the element in a container and on the blank page. I’ve tried on two computers with different browsers and in incognito mode. I still see the effect although the animations are off. I also rebooted my router just to make sure that wasn’t caching anything. Can I give you access to my test site so you can see the effect and check the masonry setting is ‘off’? (which e-mail address?) I’m using a child theme BTW.
Best wishes,
Andrew- This reply was modified 2 years, 8 months ago by coldstreamer.
Here’s a solution I was able to use, with a few small compromises …
Making a portfolio page appear in the lightbox but without a footer and header and no navigation arrows:
This only works if you can accept ALL portfolio pages displaying without a header and footer and you generally want to switch off the Lightbox navigation arrows!
1. Add this CSS to the general style options:
.single-portfolio #footer {
display: none;
}.single-portfolio #header {
display: none;
}#top .avia-post-nav {
display: none;
}.mfp-arrow {
display: none !important;
}2. Then add a masonry gallery to your page. Add the pictures from the media gallery.
You need to configure the Masonry Gallery with specific settings. These are mine that work:CONTENT TAB:
Select Images: (your pictures, preferably of the portfolio item)Captions: Display Neither
STYLING TAB:
Masonry Settings:
Styling: Perfect Grid
Orientation: Portrait
Image Size: Gallery (845×684)
Gap between elements: No GapColumns:
Columns: 4Pagination:
Image Number: 24
Pagination: No option to view additional images
Colors: DefaultADVANCED TAB:
Animation: No effect, Animation deactivated
Link Settings:
Image Link: Use custom link (fallback is no link)
Custom Link destination: Open in a new window3. Within the masonry gallery, open the list of pictures you added and click on one. In the sidebar, add a custom, individual link to the corresponding portfolio page that you want to display in the Lightbox, but in this style: (with an additional /?iframe=true at the end):
https://YOUR-DOMAIN.com/portfolio-item/lammjacke/?iframe=true
4. Order the pictures in the list as required, save everything.
5. Save the page and reload the view of the page.
