    Hi, I’m also having issues… tried to update Enfold and it broke the website. Here’s the error I got:
    Warning: require_once(config-layerslider/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/a2pewpnas01_data01/10/4059110/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 39

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘config-layerslider/config.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_6/lib/php’) in /home/content/a2pewpnas01_data01/10/4059110/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 39

    I’m having the host revert my website back to before the Enfold update, but would like to have the current version when it won’t break the site!

    in reply to: Enfold not updating from 4.5.2 to 4.5.6 #1095202

    Hi, Mike-
    Well, I tried building the 4.5.6 via FTP and it completely broke the site. When I had tried to install via copying the enfold zip file, I got the following error message:
    Request Entity Too Large
    The requested resource
    /wp-admin/update.php
    does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.
    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
    So instead I built it up via FTP. However, when I checked the site, it was a complete mess. Everything looked normal on the back end, so I ended up deleting the theme and installed version of 4.5.4 I had from another website (I have more than one license for Enfold. So, it is now back working and I’m reticent to try 4.5.6 again until I’m sure all the bugs are out of it.

    Thanks Mike-
    I’ve got this worked out now- the Token article at https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-5 fixed my issue. I appreciate your help!

    in reply to: Updating to Enfold 4.5 and validating Personal Token #1047923

    Hi,
    I manually updated to 4.5.1 and now am manually updating to 4.5.2 due to the same issues with the Envato private token. Here is what I get when I enter my Envato private token:
    Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato:

    Purchases could not be accessed
    Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
    E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
    Following errors occured:

    Purchases: Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
    – response_code: 403
    – reason: scope-missing
    username Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
    – code: not_authenticated
    email Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
    – code: not_authenticated
    Purchases: A problem occured accessing your purchases. Unable to check for updates.

    Any help? It’s quite unprofessional for me to have the clients’ site go down with the manual changes.

    Thank you!

    Anyone else have any advice other than hiring someone to do this? It looks like in this post https://kriesi.at/support/topic/fullscreen-background-image/ there is a way to do it, but the instructions from Guenni007 on 28 Feb 2018 seem to have something missing in item 6a and 6b. Any help would be appreciated!

    in reply to: Fullscreen background image #998807

    Hi,
    I’m reviewing the steps for a fullscreen background image from Guenni007. However, I’m confused with the following:
    “6) now we had to obtain your very small content
    6a) for each page you have to have that layout here:

    6b) and the grid gets this:”

    It looks like something has been removed. Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be there? I only have two different backgrounds for the pages on this site. Thanks

    Thank you! I’d done a search for it, but didn’t come up with your recommended page. It works great. :)

    Perfect, thanks that worked great!

    in reply to: Enfold Link Color #961087

    Hi, I’m having the same issue with the bold text and link text being the same color. I’ve tried adding:
    strong {
    color: #000;
    }
    under general styling – quick CSS, but it doesn’t change.
    I’m also working on a staging server, so just getting a code snippet would really help. Might be a change for the Enfold theme for the future… Link text color should definitely be able to be distinctly different.

    Thanks for any help in advance!

    Thanks, Nikko-
    I don’t know why I didn’t remember doing that previously. Working great now!
