HI Mike
That’s great work – thank you for tracking that down. How did you find it?
Cheers
StevenHi Victoria, I cleared the cache but it still loads as before.
The site was cloned from another site that used this logo. Are there any scripts that load the main logo or can anyone think of another way to track down where it’s called from?
Thanks
StevenYes, that’s perfect–please close the ticket.
Thanks
StevenHi Mike
It’s for the columns below the top 6 grid 1/3 columns; there are 5 columns and 3 columns (with spacing) and we want to reduce the margin between these and increase their width.
The CSS I added before stopped them going full width on mobile, could you please let me know the correct CSS to resolve this.
Thanks
StevenHi Mike
Thank you for that code–we had intended to have no border–the top grids now look much better.
The original query was to be able to reduce the margins on our other columns but when I added the wrong CSS the columns were not going full width on mobile.
Could you supply the correct CSS to change column margins?
Thanks
StevenNovember 1, 2018 at 1:32 pm in reply to: Apartments booking form – Enfold contact form with tag? #1028840Hi Ismael
Thanks for the response and code. I’ve added this in the child theme functions.php
You can see the test form on the left (NOT pop-out widget on right) on this page: http://destinationedinburghapartments.co.uk/new/york-place-enfold-form/
The contact form Submit button doesn’t function to send the user to the correct url, am I missing something?
I’ve added login details in private.
Thanks
StevenOkay, this code has been commented out in Customise section. The columns are now going full width on mobile etc.
Please let me know the correct CSS to change to reduce the spacing between columns.
Thanks
StevenOkay–but before I do that– can you give me the correct code to reduce the margin width of third columns?
That way the site will look as expected when I remove the offending code.Thanks
StevenHi Victoria
I’ve added that in Customise. If I comment it out it still doesn’t make the thirds full width on mobile. I’ve added login details in private content, can you please have a look and see if I’m doing something else that’s causing this issue.
Thanks
StevenOctober 25, 2018 at 10:58 am in reply to: Apartments booking form – Enfold contact form with tag? #1026281Hi Ismael, thanks for the response.
Yes, I think I need to target the contact form button. Please see instructions below. I can provide full instructions if required.
StevenInstall the Javascript Tag –
<script id=”guestline-tag” src=”https://tag.guestline.net/static/js/tag.js” data-groupid=”D_EDINBURGH” async></script>Setting up a simple form –
Adding the tag “data-guestline-form” to the <form> is all that is required to activate the form itself.<form data-guestline-form>
<select name=”hotel-id” placeholder=”Hotel”>
<option name=”hotel” value=””>Any Apartment</option>
<option name=”hotel” value=”DESTYORK”>York</option>
<option name=”hotel” value=”HOTEL2″>Southside</option>
<option name=”hotel” value=”HOTEL3″>Rodney</option>
</select>
<input type=”text” name=”arrival” placeholder=”Arrival” />
<input type=”text” name=”departure” placeholder=”Departure” />
<input type=”number” name=”adults” placeholder=”Adults” />
<input type=”number” name=”children” placeholder=”Children” />
<input type=”text” name=”promo-code” placeholder=”Promocode” />
<button type=”submit”>Submit</button>
</form>Hi,
Sorry if I was unclear, the code I added was CSS for columns, and when I remove these styles the columns still don’t go full width.
Can you please have a look at the site and check where this issue comes from. I have added login details in private content.
Thanks
StevenSure, I’ve copied the code below which works perfectly in the wordpress site for social icons at the top but doesn’t show icons in an HTML layout.
I’ve placed a link for the full site and the test HTML page in private content.
<ul class=’noLightbox social_bookmarks icon_count_3′><li class=’social_bookmarks_facebook av-social-link-facebook social_icon_1′><span class=’avia_hidden_link_text’>Facebook</span>
Thanks
StevenYes, that works but has a few issues. We can try to strip back a lot of unnecessary code and fix things.
The social icons don’t appear at the top – there another way to edit the example code below.
<span class=’avia_hidden_link_text’>Twitter</span>
Thanks
StevenJuly 9, 2018 at 12:26 pm in reply to: Upload icons not working – php limit 64M and php zip enabled #983059Thanks this is now resolved. Please close this ticket.
We got this to work but might decide not to deploy it.
Thanks, please close this ticket.
Steven
Thanks for the response. The read more tag would have been placed around 1000px; so the user could decide on whether to read more at the bottom of each tab.
Is it possible to set a max-height for the tab container with overflow scroll so the user can scroll for more content?
Thanks
StevenIts a list of attractions and accommodation on a travel site. The list has a few items and a photograph and we’d like the user to stay on that page. You can see the first draft here: http://dev.edintattootravelpackages.com/
Do you know if it is possible but would require external development?
Thanks
StevenHi Ismael, I’m sorry to say that the fonts loading seems to be intermittent. They load then they don’t load. Has the team has come across this issue before?
Thanks
StevenHi Ismael, did you make any small tweaks? The fonts are now loading for the first time in a while an I didn’t even clear the cache.
Steven
The site is not loading Oswald in any browser. I have cleared the caches. Can you please send me a screenshot of Oswald loading so we can narrow down where the error might be arising.
Thanks
StevenHow do I fix the invalid font url?
I added Courier into the menu same way you guys add extra google fonts. I believe Courier is a web safe monospace font so it loads okay.
Please let me know how to fix Oswald.
Thanks
StevenHi Victoria,
I can see where it has been applied and I have cleared the cache on all browsers but the fonts are not loading. Your screenshots confirm that it’s not loading for you either—you can see a preview of Oswald here https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Oswald
I use Enfold and Google fonts with my host server on other websites that are okay, so this is unusual. Can you please provide further help.
Thanks
StevenThe site is not displaying Oswald in h1 h2 and h3. I’ve set this in General styling Advanced styling and Quick CSS.
Thanks
SJune 20, 2017 at 12:08 pm in reply to: Font styles not loading from General Styling or Advanced Styling: #810311They are now loading!
Could you tell me why this might have been happening yesterday so I could fix next time.
Thanks
StevenNovember 15, 2016 at 11:54 am in reply to: Content not hiding in desktop Windows and IE using 'display: none;' #712423Yes, this only happens in Windows and Internet Explorer – testing on browserstack. CSS below:
#bottom_section_mobile {display: none!important;}
.mobile_gallery {display: none!important;}@media only screen and (max-width : 767px) {
#bottom_section_mobile {display: block!important; position: absolute; bottom:0; background-color: transparent!important; z-index:600!important;}
#bottom_section {display: none!important;}
.mobile_gallery {display: block!important;}
#bottom_section_mobile {display: block!important;}
.desktop_gallery {display: none!important;}
}Ah! changing the @import url fixed it!
Please close this ticket.
Thanks
