Hi Yigit,
Thanks again. I guess I never realized that I needed to make that change on new sites. I think that was a new thing in a recent update that Wodpress defaults to the Block editor. We’ve had this site up for quite a while and it wasn’t a problem until that WordPress update.
Thanks again for your help. Love the theme!

Hi Yigit,
Yes, selecting the editor in Enfold did help. Just FYI, I changed a test page with Classic selected and it worked fine. When I put it back to block, this is the error message I got after opening a text block:It seems you are currently adding some HTML markup or other special characters. Once all HTML tags are closed the preview will be available again. If this message persists please check your input for special characters and try to remove them.
When I put it back to Classic, the editor worked as usual. I’m surprised that the default isn’t the Classic editor since the Block causes problems. And, I’m surprised that none of the techs asked about which editor was set in the theme options.
I don’t see how it could have been a caching issue since I had the host check it and cleared the cache from the Dashboard and my browser.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Rikard,
The site has always had an SSL certificate from the host (Let’s Encrypt). I did notice that in Settings/General, the WordPress address and Site address were showing just http, so I added the s.
It still is showing the original design in the editor and the updated design in the Preview.
Besides, the site has always updated properly up until now, so I’m not sure how the lack of the s in the Settings could be the problem.
What can I do? I need to get the site updated!

Ismael,
Sorry about that. I put the correct information in the Private Content section.
I’ve tried everything, hard refreshes, different browsers, etc. Still nothing. The preview of the Home page still shows the changes, but the page itself doesn’t.
Thanks for your help.
Please mark this closed. I did more experimentation to move the first link around and found a place where it would work.
Hi Nikko – that works! Thanks for the explanation.
Hi Rikard – you’re right (as you guys always are). When I deactivated that option, both the content slider and the scroll to top started working.
Not sure why it stopped suddenly since the Javascript file compression has always been on, but I’ve decided I don’t want to know :-) as long as I’m not missing out on much by disabling it. Am I?
Thanks again for your help!

Wouldn’t you know it would be an operator error! Thanks for finding it.
.
Hi Rikard, Thanks for the response.
The code to update the bullet items in the sidebar had no effect, unfortunately.
I used the inline font size CSS and it worked, but shouldn’t anything assigned as Paragraph take on the <p> styling in the Advanced Styling section of the Theme Options? It started out doing that, but then it quit. Any idea why?
Thanks again.
Hi Rikard – See the content below – Thanks.

Hi Ismael – thanks! that worked.
I’m also having trouble using the Text widget in the sidebar. It doesn’t seem to respond to what I do. Are there defaults I can’t see? For example, can I use bullet lists? I tried adding the HTML, but it didn’t work. Thanks again.
