January 5, 2017 at 7:06 pm in reply to: menu changes only show when logged in as admin, old menu shows for guests #730014We are not using any caching software at this time. We had wordfence cache, but that has been disabled for some time now.
I’ll check on the host. will get back with you. thanks.

January 5, 2017 at 6:16 pm in reply to: menu changes only show when logged in as admin, old menu shows for guests #729993agentrising.com
I am having the same problem on agentrising.com
I added several menu items, including “Chat with us LIVE” which only appears when I am logged in.
any thoughts?
be sure to keep an eye on when wordfence firewall is to kick over to active and reset into learning or disable completely until a fix is found to prevent this from happening again.
I resolved this on one of my sites by replacing the files in wp-includes/js/tinymce/ with files from a fresh download of the core wordpress install and upload via ftp.
The issues I’ve had with avia have been resolved with one or more of the following if kriesi suggestions have been tried:
1. shut off wordfence firewall
2. replace all /wp-includes/js/tinymce files manually via ftp
3. re-install enfold and / or wordpress core via ftp- This reply was modified 8 years, 6 months ago by BeyondBOLD.
April 30, 2016 at 2:34 pm in reply to: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'pop' of undefined #625023I had a similar issue, I manually uploaded the files in /wp-includes/js/tinymce from a freshly downloaded wordpress core install and it was resolved.
April 30, 2016 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Can't do anything with Enfold, pages spinning, getting server tim-out errors #625020a few problems found on the forum over the past few days have been resolved with one or more of the following actions.
1. update to latest version of wordpress / enfold
2. disable wordfence firewall if you are using it
3. check file permissions ( function-set-avia-ajax.php has been set to 200 in a few instances ) and reset to normal
4. re-install enfold via FTPif you are running wordfence disable the firewall, that has helped a few people while the good folks here with kriesi work on the fix.
Another item which has produced relief for some is to manually upload the core files in /wp-includes/js/tinymce/ via ftp from a fresh download of the core wordpress files.
good luck

April 28, 2016 at 11:18 pm in reply to: CONFLICK? Avia Editor Spinning After WordPress 4.5 Update and Code Functions Fix #624041I was reading around and found people had issues with file permission setting on some of the core ajax files. figured it might be worth a go with security plugins changing file permissions in some cases to protect the files.
April 28, 2016 at 5:44 pm in reply to: CONFLICK? Avia Editor Spinning After WordPress 4.5 Update and Code Functions Fix #623905have you checked that file permissions are all ok?
two thoughts while support takes a look
1. do you have an htaccess file protecting the wp-admin folder?
2. did you set up wordfence? there seems to be an issue with the firewall and enfold.if you have not yet, load the wordfence plugin ( with firewall DISABLED ) and run a scan on your site. this SHOULD help detect bad code.
make sure you go through the settings to ensure you are scanning as much as possible.
good luck.
*edit: this is a good place to start, not the be-all, end-all of security solutions. :)

April 26, 2016 at 5:50 pm in reply to: CONFLICK? Avia Editor Spinning After WordPress 4.5 Update and Code Functions Fix #622353the only thing I can think of without digging into code is to run a virus / malware scan on your site to ensure you don’t have any extra code injected into your files, or extra files being created. I like wordfence personally, but it looks like there might be an issue with it and enfold right now.
April 26, 2016 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Enfold Theme is updated as per instructions and is still not working. #622321two things I did to resolve similar problem:
1. deactivate wordfence firewall if running and remove references in .htaccess file
2. updated ~/your/website/wp-includes/js/tinymce/ files in core wordpress install via FTP- This reply was modified 8 years, 7 months ago by BeyondBOLD.
