Do I need to create a child theme so that when I updated theme versions, this doesn’t get erased? If so, do you have directions on how to install a child theme easily?

I did toggle and I am using Color section. The top part is using the “plugin” for the parallax effect and works on mobile, but underneath that is enfold color section, set to Parallax, that still isn’t working. Any help would be appreciated. Credentials below:
Kinda seems like Codeable is trying to get some freelance work. Just weird when all these other, less experience themes, can do what you guys can’t figure out or don’t want to.
Guess I will just resort to using “Advanced WordPress Backgrounds” plugin to get the effect.
Disappointing
I tried to remove the code below from the js > shortcodes.js file, but it still doesn’t work. Is there something I can remove to make it work??

I want the Address on the right side, opposite of the logo that should be on the left. Then the menu centered below. Something like this site: http://stjoanofarc.com/

Chrome it work great. Safari, you have to rollover before it shows. Firefox still cuts off the wording, until you rollover it: https://gpcimultifamily.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/001.jpg

Chrome works fine. Firefox cuts off the wording until you rollover, then it works. Any way to get it to stay instead of rollover and then work?

That’s the weird thing. Once you roll over, then it stays. It should just always stay and be there, instead of the roll over thing.
The text is still on the left side on mobile. And is there a way to raise the text up so that the button is visible? thanks
