Can we please see the web site?
It is possible an output not to be working but it is strange that the half shortcode is working.Can we please do take a look and it will help us to see if we can solve it or would need to check with the plugin author.

755 is normaly ok, try switch it and test it a bit. Most probably there will be no issue, as it gives permissions for uploading.
