We can not do much regarding that.
The switching is a well known issue that exist on WordPress, so it has to be avoided.
If you use ALB, please keep working based on that and do not change it.

1. No, the child theme does not create any performance issues at all.
2. Yes, if you have transfered your CSS to a different file, no need for the custom css any more.

What is not included as PSD is because Kriesi is doing online design for most of those pages, using the ALB and not creating
any PSD files for the theme.

Might need some custom CSS also, but if you want to go further, you can use the Uber Menu and make all that work fine.

That will do work and most probably the style of the Build In from Enfold, will also work out for you.

The best solution for something like that, is to create a function of your iframe and add it to the ALB as a Shortcode, so there are no issues.
