IE it not supported right now for Microsoft so noone of the Web Designers / Developers is supporting also.
I would suggest to make the image a bit longer and try to see how that does look.

Can you please go to Dashboard -> Enfold and from there you will do find the Custom CSS options.
Please put it from there so we can be sure it will be called last on the CSS sequence.
