Thank you very much for your question, we do appreciate it.
Yes – WAG is something that has been discussed internal a lot.
There are many things to be taken in consideration although and not from our code only but also on how WordPress works.
AS you understand, there are things that can not go through properly and that is why not many theme providers do touch that sensitive case.

We have although some stuff that have been discussed before, like the menu. Not sure when the update related to Accessibility will be released, but Kriesi is taking it under consideration.

It is not the IP address, that cant be true at all.
There is no such functionality to WordPress.
Regarding the spam, there is no way to block them we are afraid, you can try get your site under CloudFlare for example, it will solve some of those issues.

You can block the access to it ( it was blocked to me fro mthe server ) as it should not be crawled from google that file at all.

The counting has some issues
1. The grid is not pixel but % so it is responsive
2. There are borders
3. There are paddings

The issue is that what you want to achieve is almost like ” braking ” the grid, to bring the result, it is really tought as there are multiple things to be controlled at once

You can create a custom Class, that you will apply per case on where you want to add shadown
You can make many different shadow effects and apply per case

That – to be worked properly should be the case if the image is set as background to the slider and the slider is full width also ( not only it container )
