    Thanks Guenni007.

    The three column box with the light highlight is perfect.

    How do I implement this?

    Sorry no, I don’t have a link to the specific file. In any case, it can be the one that comes with Enfold. It displays the same behaviour.

    Hi, just passing by. From memory, I believe this can be found in the sidebar widgets area.

    So to view this go to your backend Dashboard / Appearance / Widgets.

    You can add or remove whatever you would like to see in this area.

    Cheers

    Thanks Yigit.

    So really I should discard the enfold contact form altogether and try something else or revert back to the maths question prompt.

    Doesn’t seem like much of a solution :( .

    It would seem others have had the same issue I have come across in the past – Sorry, but the session time for this page has expired. Please reload the page.

    Thanks

    John

    So the error arose once more using Chrome. So I log into the admin of the website and before I clear any cache I retest the form on the home page and the contact page. It is now OK? I test website further by using using Edge (not logged in) and its working there.

    When I logged into admin it MAY have cleared the cache as an automatic function but I cannot be sure and I cannot be certain that the clearing of cache is a method to have it working.

    The issue is inconsistent and frustrating as I feel i cannot rely on the Enfold contact form with the Google reCaptcha enabled to work effectively. The reason why we are using the Google ReCaptcha is that the client was complaining of too much spam on the Enfold maths challenge.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hi Yigit.

    Yes, it has corrected again but I’m going to leave this thread open this time.

    I did a ‘purge all’ cache via Wordfence may have helped but I will need to see if the error comes back and by doing this same action has the same result?

    I’ll keep you posted.

    in reply to: Parallax demo #1375606

    Thanks Yigit.

    I went through the parallax rules as suggested and for the very small screens I have set it to ‘none’. This works a treat.

    The only issue I have is the formatting of the text in mobile view for the ‘about us’ section:

    b. About us section – text is contained to a more narrower view giving more space to the left and right. Would be nice to have this expanded out to fill the screen better that is similar to the ‘core values and operations’ section in the grid row below this element.

    Thanks

    just a follow up to my post.

    I have pretty much figured out all of point 2 however point 1 (mobile view) still needs to be looked at:

    1. Mobile view
    a. Too much spacing between the elements. Case in point are the three boxes for the Service section. When you scroll down they should ideally be closer to one another but are all spaced out, in particular the third box is pushed further down the view-port. This gives the section a disjointed experience.
    b. About us section – text is contained to a more narrower view giving more white space to the left and right. Would be nice to have this expanded out that is similar to the ‘What we do..’ section in the element below this.

    Hi support,

    I’m still getting notifications of this same issue that had not been reported before hand on other sites I have. Probably due to the crawler only hitting it now?

    However, I feel as this has been on-going for a while it would be good for support, if not already done so, to reach out to google search forum/support to get feedback or a resolution to the issue so we can resolve it for our community here.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Any update to this? Has the search console you setup completed being indexed?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply, Nice to see. I’ve used the restaurant theme in the past but was wondering what other may have produced.

    I was wondering if anyone has come across enfold used for a cafe theme with and without an ordering process included?

    Just after a little inspiration.

    Hi,
    I’m in the same boat as have been getting a few of these for my clients sites and came across this thread when researching. Will keep an eye on this.

    in reply to: social icons #1363555

    Thanks Rikard. Works a treat.

    The social icons in the footer on hover show the brand colour of the icon in question.

    Is there a way to have this happen for the social icons in the header?

    Also, can we enlarge the font for the icons in the footer to better match those represented in the header?

    Thanks
    John

    in reply to: Footer page email address to wide for mobile #1363426

    Thanks Rikard,

    I cant seem to get this to work as well as I thought it would.

    I have therefore re-done the contact page and the text in the footer to 18px and truncated its presentation over two lines. See website.

    If you think there is something more to add to test I am happy to give that a go. Failing this I think we can close the thread. I may revisit this at a a later date.

    Many thanks for your assistance.

    in reply to: social icons #1363416

    Thanks Rikard.

    I can see the changes to the footer icons now.

    Is there a way in which we could have the icon letter / image to be white before mouse hover. I don’t mind the hover/rollover showing the original colours to the icon brand as it is presently showing.

    Also, the top social icons I see no change to their shape / colour like the ones in the footer.

    This is the background colour I am intending to use: #031926

    in reply to: social icons #1363376

    Thanks Rikard.

    I have the social icons in the header area to the right of the logo and in a footer page to the right. If you view the site you will see them.

    in reply to: Footer page email address to wide for mobile #1363375

    Thanks Rikard.

    Is there any way to reduce it so that the email address is on the one line? The same is for the email address on the contact page.

    Cheers

    in reply to: social icons #1363308

    Hi Rikard,

    Many thanks for the reply. Yes it more about the styling. I would prefer to get it as close to the example I had given using the icons that are already in theme rather than importing small image files.

    If you look in the Quick CSS I already have some code there but you may want to add or adjust ?

    I also need the icons in the footer page to be spaced out a little more.

    Thanks
    John

    in reply to: Hide image file names in Gallery / Portfolio #1336275

    Once again guys, many thanks for all your assistance. It would appear to be working.

    Will keep the code that @guenni007 outlaid for future. Handy to have.

    Please close thread.

    in reply to: Hide image file names in Gallery / Portfolio #1336097

    Many thanks for the input from all.

    I modified the code per @guenni007 suggestion:

    jQuery(window).on('load', function(){

    However, I still have when on hover the image title showing.

    If I click an image to bring up the lightbox the filename is there as well so I then added the following in Quick CSS:

    /*----------------------------------------
    // CSS - hide file names in gallery view
    //--------------------------------------*/
    .mfp-title {
        display: none !important;
    }

    .mfp-counter {
        display: none !important;
    }

    This removed the image title in the lightbox :)

    So, it is just the on-hover image title I now need to remove. See link below for one of the galleries.

    Thanks
    john
