Sorry, one more thing: On the Contact Us page, the margins are wider than the others. Any thoughts on that one? Thanks again.

December 16, 2019 at 8:18 pm in reply to: Layerslider – screen "blinks" before transitioning to next slide #1166566Hi there. In addition to disabling smush (and the issue continues) I also have replaced the slider images with smaller files (from 2MB or so to 400kb per slide, or so). I also disabled several other plugins, but the issue continues. It flashes at the end of each slide, before the transition, but only on the first cycle of the slider. Once all the slides have been loaded/seen, the flickering goes away until the page is reloaded.
Any other ideas? Thank you.

I appreciate your continued support.
December 12, 2019 at 10:02 pm in reply to: Layerslider – screen "blinks" before transitioning to next slide #1165350I am having this same issue in Chrome, Edge and Firefox (it is worst in firefox though). I tried inserting the CSS recommended in another thread on this subject but it had no effect. Can you help please?
Thanks.
Thanks Rikard.
One more question please: in the slider settings, what is your recommendation for the size option? Should it match the image dimensions? For example, if my images are 1500×450, should the settings also be 1500×450? Or something else? if something else, what is the best way to determine those settings?
Thanks again.
Hi Rikard. Thanks for your reply.
I appreciate your taking a look. This site is for a large-format printer, so the slider images must be clear and crisp when presented.I have uploaded images that are 648 pixels wide (with height ranging from 270 to 318., which I think its too small. So I need to know what dimensions the images need to be so they will be clear, and I want to make sure I have the slider settings correct to facilitate that. It seems like image size and slider size setting should be the same, but perhaps not…
Thank you.
Hi Mike. That seems to have worked. Thank you!
Thank you both. I have not tried yet – I will today.
However I don’t know what @guenni007 means by “by the way you have to set this on the alb ( colums ) by yourself – on default the columns do not have border.”
Can you clarify?
Thanks again.
Thanks Mike. I did that and it worked, but only after I changed the filepath in theme settings.
Question: Why would this be happening only on this website? I use Enfold them on multiple websites without that issue.
Thanks again.
Hi Rikard. Thanks for the reply.
I followed your instructions to a tee but it did not fix the issue.
Do you have any other ideas?
Thanks.
HI Rikard. I disabled WP-Optimize May 8 and cleared cache. Then I let it sit for the past week and Favicon still is not showing for me on the live site. I do see it in WP-Admin, but not on live site.
Before doing this I saw a rectangle in the favicon area. Now I see a circle that looks like a globe of the world.
Any other suggestions for me?
Thank you.

My site also is running the latest versions of WP and the theme, and all plugins are up to date. I also have tried inserting the code in the Code Block, where it also gets stripped out.
Please help!
Thank you.I am having the same issue. Please see this screenshot, https://www.screencast.com/t/EOp3ZwbMzL, which shows the code before I save the Text Block and after I save and reopen the Text Block. It is stripping out the first line.
Thank you.
That did it! Thank you.
April 9, 2019 at 6:55 pm in reply to: Sticky header showing behind menu rather than reducing and moving up #1088810Hey Jordan. I just added that last block of CSS code and it fixed the mobile, but the desktop was back to the way it was before I added the code. So I disabled the pre-loader and it seemed to fix the issue on desktop view. FYI.
One other thing: I have it set to “Sticky header,” but I see very little, if any difference, when i check or uncheck “shrinking header.” Can you take a look to make sure the theme is handling this correctly? The logo is not shrinking with either setting – it is just sliding up very slightly.
Thanks for your continued support.
April 8, 2019 at 4:09 pm in reply to: Sticky header showing behind menu rather than reducing and moving up #1088365Jordan, thanks for the prompt reply. this will make my client happy.
There is one remaining issue on this, please: It seems that whatever happened to change this prior to adding your css code (above), also changed the size and layout of the responsive (iPhone 6s anyway). The responsive logo is now (both before and after adding your CSS) larger than it was last week. Here is a screenshot of the way it looked last week: https://www.screencast.com/t/arX26cqgyM1X
And here is a screenshot of the way it looks now: https://www.screencast.com/t/jVvO09lIW
Thank you!
That worked. Thank you!
This reply has been marked as private.Here is what my hosting company, Flywheel, said in response to your questions about php memory and version…
Hi Armando,
Thanks for that updated info. Here’s the PHP memory limit and version details:
PHP Memory Limit: 384M (this is set the same for live and staging)
PHP Version: 7.1
We noticed that the version of Enfold running on live and staging is 3.71. From what we can see here, the current version of Enfold is 4.4:
https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990
It also looks like they recently had a performance update, so updating that theme should help.Please note that I am running Enfold version 3.7.1 . The theme update section in the theme settings reads, “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.7.1)”.
However, I have another website, http://www.congletonlumber.com, which is also running the Enfold theme, and it too says I have the latest version: “Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2.6)” That site seems to be working correctly.Please advise. Thank you for your help.
Ismael, I entered the css code you provided in your last post, so the Quick CSS under Theme Options>General Styling now looks like what I have pasted below.
In addition, in your last post you had asked me to check the actual resolution of the SurfacePro. Here is what my client is telling me:
“The problem is still there. It does, however, change when I lower the resolution. I have my surface set at the highest resolution (2160×1440), which is the recommended resolution. If I lower the resolution, the banner gets better during each stage and looks perfect if I set the resolution low enough. However, I know a lot of people who use surface pros and the majority have it at the highest resolution.”
AND HERE IS THE CSS CODE AS IT NOW APPEARS IN QUICK CSS:
div .logo {
display: none !important;
}.tablepress-id-1 {
width: auto !important;
}.tablepress .column-1 {
width: 325px;
}.tablepress .column-2 {
width: 200px;
}.tablepress .column-3 {
width: 100x;
}/*TEXT SIZE BIGGER AND COLOR DARKER PHONE INFO BAR*/
.phone-info {font-size: 20px !important;color:#2F4A87 !important;}@media only screen and (min-width: 2000px) {
.surfaceclass {
margin-top: 0 !important;
}
}@media only screen and (min-width: 2000px) {
#layerslider_8 .ls-bg {
margin-top: 0 !important;
}
}Many thanks for your assistance, as I really need to get this resolved.
Best regards.

September 30, 2016 at 3:58 pm in reply to: portions of Advanced Slider cut-off on SurfacePro #693854In case it helps, here is the entire block of css I have in the custom css field:
div .logo {
display: none !important;
}.tablepress-id-1 {
width: auto !important;
}.tablepress .column-1 {
width: 325px;
}.tablepress .column-2 {
width: 200px;
}.tablepress .column-3 {
width: 100x;
}/*TEXT SIZE BIGGER AND COLOR DARKER PHONE INFO BAR*/
.phone-info {font-size: 20px !important;color:#2F4A87 !important;}@media only screen and (min-width: 2000px) {
.surfaceclass {
margin-top: 0 !important;
}
}September 30, 2016 at 3:57 pm in reply to: portions of Advanced Slider cut-off on SurfacePro #693853Hi Ismael. Thanks for your assistance.
I made a copy of the slider, then went to attributes and entered a class name into the class field. Then I replaced the text in your code to match and pasted it into the Custom CSS field in the Theme Settings section.
Unfortunately, its appearance did not change on the Surface Pro.
Any other ideas?
Thank you. I sincerely appreciate your continued assistance with this.
September 29, 2016 at 12:23 am in reply to: portions of Advanced Slider cut-off on SurfacePro #692918Hi just checking in to see if the screenshot provided offer any help in figuring this out. Thanks.
September 26, 2016 at 2:46 pm in reply to: portions of Advanced Slider cut-off on SurfacePro #691711Vinay, here is a link to the images that show the Surface Pro view and the normal (correct) view. Thank you.
September 23, 2016 at 4:15 am in reply to: portions of Advanced Slider cut-off on SurfacePro #690461Vinay, the closest thing to what I want to achieve is working correctly on most devices. You can see it correctly displayed at http://mitchelllindsey.fiveoaksdemo.com/. The problem I am trying to solve appears to be only on the SurfacePro where the top and bottom of the slider is being cut off, so the text at the top – “Electrical’ is not entirely visible, and the images at the bottom are not entirely visible either. So I suppose what I really need is to know the optimal dimensions and/or settings for the Advanced Layer Slider. OR, as an alternative, perhaps I don’t NEED to use the Advanced Layer Slider, since I am using only one slide? Perhaps there is another way to achieve this look without the Advanced Layer Slider?
Thanks again.
September 14, 2016 at 4:39 pm in reply to: portions of Advanced Slider cut-off on SurfacePro #686474HI. Any additional suggestions on this? I sure would appreciate it! :-)
September 12, 2016 at 8:43 pm in reply to: portions of Advanced Slider cut-off on SurfacePro #685349HI Vinay.
I have tried changing image size multiple times with no luck. This issue seems to affect only Surface Pro. Can you give me an idea of the best dimensions to use for this image to make it respond correctly on all devices? I have the settings set to “Full Width” and “Responsive.”
I would be most appreciative of any additional instructions you can provide.
Thanks.
