    Me too. This only seems to happen with ENFOLD. We have been asking your for help with this issue since early November. Please help.
    SUMMARY: This mobile display problem occurs in safari on mobile devices (iphone5 & 6 for certain). To replicate this issue:
    — Clear your cache (history & website data) and blocking cookies.
    — Set safari privacy & security for cookies to “always block” or “Allow from websites I visit”

    “Allow from websites I visit” is the iPhone default.
    Therefore, anyone trying to access our site with the default setting on, cannot see our site.
    please help.

    in reply to: ENFOLD not working on iPhones #556624

    Thanks. I tried this but it does not help. The only thing that helps is to change the iphone settings for safari to “always allow” cookies and website data, then clear the cache. Unfortunately, this is not the default settings for most phones.
    Let me know if you need more screen shots. Mobile display is seriously messed up for this site.
    please advise. thanks.

    Thank you for your speedy response to this issue!! Works great now!

    Kahil, Yes, you described my issue exactly. The validation of a selection field being “on” broke the form. I had to turn off all the validation to get it to work. The selections had to be changed to text input to receive them in the email. It’s a bug in the theme for sure.

    Any updates on this issue? Is this a problem getting resolved? thanks.

    Hi Icebox,
    Yes, i use go daddy’s managed wordpress accounts for both of my enfold sites. Is that what you use?
    I can call godaddy, if that will help… but I am generally wary when a theme developer points me back to the hosting server as a cause of the problem. It’s the beginning of a ping pong game where we get bounced back and forth…. ;-)

    One of my sites has been up and running for over a year and a half on godaddy managed wp hosting without this mobile display problem. The other site was recently moved to managed wordpress hosting on a separate account about 2 months ago. This problem (tho I’m not sure exactly how long it was going on before my client discovered it on his iphone6) seemed to have started in the past few months.

    thanks for your concerns & help. i hope the google tracking id fix solves your problem!
    keep me posted and i’ll do the same.

    Jen

    is my google tracking code on the Advanced-RV.rentals site ok?

    in reply to: slider & menu missing on homepage – mobile #544702

    Hosting at Godaddy. am using the theme also with Airstreamcoach.com site which is also on godaddy under a different account. both sites have had the problem. thanks.

    in reply to: slider & menu missing on homepage – mobile #544611

    Kriesi. Thank you for your reply. The problem still exists on Advanced-RV.Rentals and can be reproduced if you:

    1) CLOSE SAFARI COMPLETELY.
    2) SETTINGS turn cookies off “ALWAYS ALLOW”.
    3) SETTINGS CLEAR HISTORY & WEBSITE DATA

    Reopen Safari and call up the site.

    The header and menu is all messed up, but the slider is now displaying (on my iPhone5). Please check on your iPhone 6. thanks.

    I don’t believe it is a plug in, either. we did tons of troubleshooting on various devices. can only fix this by allowing cookies.

    please help. thanks. jen

    Icebox10. Thank you for confirming you have also experienced this issue. I have not heard anything back from Kriesi customer support since Mid November when we finally isolated the mobile problem to the Cookies issue. Are they responding to you at all? I thought Josue, Yigit and Co might appreciate what we learned about cookies, but they have not replied. It’s a bad situation. i hope they fix it soon. And… I hope they take a moment to acknowledge our concerns and let us know what is going on. best. jen

    IMAGES: Here are new screenshots from this morning where I once again, turned cookies to “never allow” and tried to load the site. When I reset Safari to “Allow Cookies”, once again, the site displays fine.

    This site does not appear to be set to responsive/mobile format. Therefore, it does not show the same issues we’ve been having.

    When “responsive site” is selected on our site, and cookies are NOT allowed, the display problems occur. Menus and Layerslider and header problems appear and the site is not usable.

    If you wish to see this problem occur on your IOS device you can probably replicate it by clearing your safari browser history, turning OFF cookies so they are NEVER ALLOWED and then call up our site: Advanced-RV.rentals

    We have verified this problem over and over on iPhone 5s’s and 6’s running iOS 9.x

    The only way to get our site to display properly on mobile IOS devices is to “always allow cookies”.
    It is not practical to try and tell all of our visitors to disable cookies in their browser in order to view our site properly! I’m sure you understand. Please help.

    This page you shared is not displaying in mobile format. Therefore it does not show the same issues we’ve been having.

    When “responsive site” is selected, and cookies are NOT allowed, the display issues occur. Menus and Layerslider and header problems appear and the site is not usable.

    We have tried this on many phones now. The only way to get our site to display properly on mobile IOS devices is to “always allow cookies”.

    Rikard, thanks for your reply. The problem does not occur in chrome. only safari with cookies on. thanks. jen

    in reply to: Mobile not displaying correctly #533624

    Further testing… This is true on an iPhone 5s, as well. All running iOS 9.1
    The only way we can get the site to run properly is to ‘ALWAYS ALLOW’ COOKIES.
    This is not safe for browsing and may make us subject to malware.
    Furthermore, we cannot tell prospective visitors to turn off cookies in order to view our site, they will not necessarily know to do that. Is this something you can fix in the Enfold theme?
    I hope this information helps. thanks and please let me know if you can fix it.

    in reply to: Mobile not displaying correctly #533618

    Hi Andy, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the issue is not fixed on mobile devices (iPhone 6 using safari).
    Please clear your safari cache & history, turn on cookies and you will see what I mean.
    I’ve tested with many users in the field and repeatedly found that the site does not display properly on iPhone 6 with cookies on. Can you fix this in the theme? Please let me know….
    thanks. Jen

    in reply to: slider & menu missing on homepage – mobile #533441

    Yigit,
    Thank you for your reply. We are running iOS 9.1 on several devices.
    I think we have narrowed down the issue here:
    The theme does not display correctly when cookies are not allowed in safari.
    Most of us are set to “allow from websites I visit”.
    Therefore, for new visitors, or when we clear cache the site does not work.
    People cannot see our site because of this. Can you please fix this bug?
    It is causing a lot of problems out here in the field.
    Please advise.
    Thank you, kindly.

    Hello Basilis,

    I have made no modifications to cause this problem. Exactly what modifications are you referring to? what “normal” are you referring to? Please be specific.

    In attempting to fix the problem, I have tried changing a few settings. I turned responsive setting off but it did not help I replaced those settings to their original (how they were set before the problem arose). so, clearly, this is not the cause of my problem.

    The only other thing i did was turn off plug ins. That also made no difference. do you recommend I turn all the plug ins back on?

    The site used to run fine on mobile. Now it does not. I made no modifications to cause that to happen.

    PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT YOU ARE ASKING ME TO DO. I will happily take your instruction if it will help fix this problem.
    thank you kindly,

    Jen

    Additional notes: both of these sites take a VERY long time to load on my iphone5s after clearing the cache. Did it load quickly for you? There is speed issue in addition to the display problems. just wanted to mention that. i have already been in touch with hosting regarding this issue. they said to contact you. thanks.

    in reply to: Mobile not displaying correctly #532198

    Thank you for checking this. My iphone5 seems intermittently okay and problematic with the site so I am not shocked looks okay for you now. here are some screen shots of what I am seeing most of the time

    Note: The last image is for another site I manage, our “sister” site, also built with enfold very similar to the site you are checking, just for a different vehicle. The url is Advanced-RV.rentals currently on this site I am not getting a home page slider and there are no menus. the sign on credentials for this site are below.

    VERY IMPORTANT: I have repeated reports that NEITHER SITE DISPLAYS AT ALL ON IPHONE 6.
    I do not have an iPhone 6 so i cannot check this while trouble shooting.

    All of these problems are serious. I tried turning off all plugins and been troubleshooting this for quite some time. I am hoping it is a simply fix. I just don’t know what to do. Please help me solve the problem. Thanks, kindly,

    jen

    thank you for your reply. No, this is not the issue. i only turned the responsive feature a few hours ago because I hadn’t heard back from you and thought it might be better to have the site non-responsive than messed up as it was. Responsive is back on again. It looks terrible. Please take another look and advise me as best you can. This is very frustrating. thanks.

    ps. i restored the .php again. so we are back up. thanks for your suggestions. i did look for a password protection plug in but didn’t find anything. do you recommend one? thanks and sorry for the panic. i’m probably doing something wrong in how i edit the php.

    in reply to: Displaying .pdfs #471711

    thanks. But, why does adding a code snippet crash my site? it’s a simple procedure, cut and past directly from the source, am placing it at the very end of the functions.php from within the editor.. am i doing something wrong?

    in reply to: Displaying .pdfs #471701

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas04_data02/30/2293230/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 538

    please help.

    in reply to: Displaying .pdfs #471698

    the code i tried using was from the link you gave me. it said this would allow me to modify the text displayed on the password protected page. it crashes my site. please help.

    <?php
    function my_password_form() {
    global $post;
    $label = ‘pwbox-‘.( empty( $post->ID ) ? rand() : $post->ID );
    $o = ‘<form action=”‘ . esc_url( site_url( ‘wp-login.php?action=postpass’, ‘login_post’ ) ) . ‘” method=”post”>
    ‘ . __( “To view this protected post, enter the password below:” ) . ‘
    <label for=”‘ . $label . ‘”>’ . __( “Password:” ) . ‘ </label><input name=”post_password” id=”‘ . $label . ‘” type=”password” size=”20″ maxlength=”20″ /><input type=”submit” name=”Submit” value=”‘ . esc_attr__( “Submit” ) . ‘” />
    </form>
    ‘;
    return $o;
    }
    add_filter( ‘the_password_form’, ‘my_password_form’ );
    ?>
