Thank you for checking. ok. It was only happening with that one page. So, I deleted the page completely and started over on a new page. Seems okay now. For future reference, is there a way to build a page on another site, then copy the html code and paste it into the editor of enfold to create a new page? Effectively, this allows us to clone a page from one site to another. appreciate your help.

Thank you Ismael. good research. but, no luck here.
javascript is enabled on my phone. I added the php.ini file info your provided on 4 of my sites (2 live and 2 test sites). as shown below. Doesn’t seem that cookies blocked/allowed make any difference now. every time i clear web data it comes up differently for each site. one will be okay then when cleared, it goes bad. and visa versa. sometimes there is a square menu box at the top with all the menu items and an “x”. sometimes the menu is floating all over the screen. Sometimes the images fail to appear. this problem appears in many variations. :-( please advise. thx.Now… should i take those changes out or leave them in? the APC changes don’t seem to be helping. should I remove the php.ini file altogether?

Hi Ismael,
Unfortunately, the disabling of the APC extension did not fix the issue. Can you share the phpinfo.php data for a working enfold site – one which is functioning properly on mobile, such as your demos?? We would like to compare with ours. thanks. jenHi. thanks for your speedy response. yes, I did disable plug ins. problem persists. memory_limit is now set to 512M. EDIT: I have since deleted the page in question and rebuilt it from scratch. this seems to have cleared the issue up. Apparently, the editor did not like one of the changes I was trying to make. thanks for your help.

Hi Thinayr, thank you for adding to this thread. There were several other users seeing the same issue on another thread, and we are looking for a pattern. Do you have a recollection of when this issue started for you? What hosting are you using? thanks. jen
Ismael… quick follow up just wanted to let you know that we confirmed the APC is disabled now on all my sites but the problem persists. Your thoughts? Next suggestion? thanks. Jen
Hi Ismael, This was great detective work, but I still need your help. With go daddy’s help, I was able to upload and edit .user.ini file and turn off the APC extension (i think!) on one of my test sites but the problem persists. Can you kindly verify it is turned off? Test site credentials are below. If it is off and this does not solve the problem, what do you suggest I try next? kind thanks Jen.
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for this suggestion. I requested that godaddy disable the cache last week but they said this was impossible to do. Meanwhile, they (supposedly) put me in contact with their tech expert on Worpress Managed hosting. He was going to take a look at this issue last Thursday and get back to me. Unfortunately, I have not heard back. They have not been responding to any of my messages. Very disappointed with Godaddy now. If you believe that their hosting is the source of this compatibility issue with Enfold, we will have no choice but to switch hosting providers. If we do this, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations for a provider with which we can be assured the Enfold theme is compatible. Your thoughts? Maybe we just need to go to C-Panel hosting? Thanks again for all your help with this issue. We must get this solved once and for all. Regards, JenNo, I am not able to reproduce the issue with your demo site. it looks great! You mentioned on the other thread that it might relate to server configuration. If this is the case, what do you recommend I do next? thanks.
Hi Ismael.
Thank you so much for your help with this, I really appreciate your efforts. I understand that it is baffling on your end. It is baffling for us, too, since it is happening on all (now 4 of them) of our sites, but only with the Enfold theme.
Would you kindly take a look at the back end of this new site I recently set up? Credentials are pasted below. There are no plugins activated, no demo content, and very few files have been uploaded. Just a similar front page with slider. I am seeing the problem in mobile when I clear the cache and block cookies, as we have seen on the other sites. Screen shot attached.
This eliminates plug ins as being the cause. I have contacted Godaddy, and they sent me back to you saying it was the cookies. But, you eliminated that.
You also mentioned server configuration. How can this be determined? What should I be looking for there? Other Enfold customers have reported this issue (hosted by Godaddy). Could it be some combination between your theme and their servers? I’m sorry I don’t understand these issues better.
The only other thing all our sites have in common is a full screen slider or layer slider on the home page. One of the “symptoms” we have is that the slider fails to display when cookies are blocked on phones. Sometimes it works with a refresh. The other issue is that the menu goes all over the screen (see screen shot) with cookies blocked, but not every time.
Again, thank you so much for your help… we still need to get to the bottom of this, so any suggestion you offer would be greatly appreciated. cheers! JenSame to you!
Excellent. Thank you, very much!

Again, super speedy, thanks! Actually we do already have a solid black sticky header (which appears on scrolling down off the transparent glassy header) but are wondering if that solid black can be modified in opacity. My site url is shared below. THANKS!
Hi Yigit! Wow… thanks for your super speedy reply! This works great for altering the opacity of the glassy header but what we are actually looking for is when you scroll and it turns to sticky header (ours goes to solid black) if that opacity can be modified as well? Sorry if my question was unclear. thank you for your help! Jen
That’s Perfect! Thanks!
great, thanks!
Thanks!
Hello Vinay,
Thank you so much for checking out this issue. This issue is easy to replicate:1) go to settings/safari select: “Always Block” or “Allow from Websites I Visit” — (iPhone default setting)
2) and clear your cache by tapping on “Clear History and Website Data”.
3) Then load my sites URL’s below.You will see the problem with slider not showing up and/or menu displayed wildly. It works fine when cookies are allowed. Unfortunately, iPhone default settings won’t allow the cookies. Why is Enfold dependent on cookies to display correctly on mobile?
It is even happening on the new test site (below) I am working on this week (#3 below) which you have been helping me on.
I will wait to purchase another license until you can let me know the status of this issue.I sure hope you can help fix this, thanks. this has been a problem for several months now and while your team is usually quite responsive, we are not getting any answers on the old threads and we don’t know what to do.
I’m sure you have lots of customers in the same situation. We have heard from several and have verified this on many phones.
thanks again for your help in resolving this. Please let me know what you find out… so we can move forward, with confidence, on our next Enfold site build. Best, JenThanks! This changed it to black but i believe we lost the opacity. do you have code which will provide a black 80% button back ground? thx! :-)
super! thanks!
Hi Elliot – thanks! Opacity is good now however this turned the button from black to pink. i checked settings and it’s still set to black. advise? thanks.
Worked perfectly! Thanks!
Excellent. :-) thanks!

I appreciate all of your help but this issue is still not resolved. Can we please get some follow up here? Thanks.
The question is: Why is Enfold theme dependent on cookies and can this be changed??
The theme does not work in mobile without cookies allowed. See Above. Please help. thanks kindly.
Excelllent. this worked perfectly. thanks. Is it also possible to increase the letter spacing of the menu items (main menu link labels)? thanks! I plan to purchase another enfold license for a new project. Great theme!
Thanks for sharing the CSS. Looks good.. Just wondering now, is it possible to lower it slightly? about 5 points or so? thanks.

Hi, thanks! I created a “fonts” folder in the ftp and added that to the url, as recommended in the tutorial. But…It’s okay! We decided to go with one of the existing fonts in the theme and are very happy with it. thanks for your help!
Hello Yigit,
Thanks for the helpful tutorial. Apparently I am doing something wrong and it’s not working. This goes into the css style sheet, correct? please advise. thanks. Jen@font-face {
font-family: ‘texgyreadventorregular’;
src: url(‘fonts/texgyreadventor-regular-webfont.eot’);
src: url(‘fonts/texgyreadventor-regular-webfont.eot?#iefix’) format(’embedded-opentype’),
url(‘fonts/texgyreadventor-regular-webfont.woff’) format(‘woff’),
url(‘fonts/texgyreadventor-regular-webfont.ttf’) format(‘truetype’),
url(‘fonts/texgyreadventor-regular-webfont.svg#texgyreadventorregular’) format(‘svg’);
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;}
Thank you for your super speedy response! I will give this a go!
Meanwhile, we are considering purchasing another license of Enfold for a new site.
Need to know: Does Enfold enable a user sign in/registration feature?
We wish to set up an “owner” section which our customers can access to see particular content not available on the main site. I know I can password protect a page… but would like for each owner to have their own username/password to access this section of the site.
Appreciate your help!thank you for the suggestion. i replaced the CSS which was previously there (provided by your staff when site was built), but this did not work.
I have tested each setting. The display issue recurs with either code or no codes in the CSS.Hi Yigit & Kriesi,
Sorry to keep bothering you with this issue but it is still not resolved, and it is serious. Bottom line is that this issue only occurs with cookies on iPhones in Safari. But it is the default setting on most phones and the site is broken on all of them with this setting turned on. I contacted my hosting and confirmed that caching and permissions are fine. Why Is the Enfold theme dependent on cookies and can this be changed ???
Thank you kindly, Jen- This reply was modified 8 years, 11 months ago by AirstreamCoach.
Please Try this — In your safari settings:
— Clear your cache (history & website data) and block cookies.
— Set safari privacy & security for cookies to “always block” or “Allow from websites I visit” (iPhone default setting).
Now check the site. http://www.AirstreamCoach.com
Not sure if iPhone 4 will act up, but this problem occurs consistently on iPhone 5 & 6 and we have received many complaints.
Please help. Thank youPS: here is another recent screenshot showing another variation of the problem:
