Hi,

We need some help about Enfold’s updates (we have bought more than 30 themes of Enfold). In order to update each one, could we extend the licenses to obtain the updates? or do we have to buy a new license each year for each Enfold?

Please, if you could advise us about how to manage the updates of each web, we’ll really appreciate it.

Hey materiagris2013,

You don’t have to renew anything, but if you are running version 4.4.1 or below then you need to update your sites manually. Please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

We have updated to the last version 4.5 but we still have a problem: when we try to edit a text box, there is no text. It doesn’t show the text, instead there is a html alarm…How can I send you screenshots? if you could check it, we’ll really appreciate it: https://hayderecho.com/estudios-informes/

Hi materiagris2013,

i assume you are Using WordPress 5.0? With WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg Editor was introduced and it causes some Problems. See this sticky post for more information: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-wordpress-v5-please-read/

For me the following helped:
The Editor informed me about a auto saved version. It helped to revert to that auto saved version to get rid of the html error. Please be aware that any changes may get lost. So you should save the Shortcode of the entire page first.
