When I attempt to update to the latest version, there is an error and it says “we’ve detected and restored edits to your custom.css”. How can I update without losing any changes?

I put the link for the site in private content. I was actually able to manually upload the new version via FTP so that seems to have done the trick, now the only problem is that my contact page seems to have gotten stuck in between the old and new versions and I can not use Avia builder with content that is there. If I go to use Avia, it says “You got content in your editor that can’t be convert to Layout Builder content. Click OK if you want to proceed and lose this content. “
December 9, 2018 at 12:02 am #1042612Hi,
I believe the error with contact page has to do with saving your page and reloading a couple of times, please see this sticky post
If this doesn’t help, please include a admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.Best regards,

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.1 has to be done manually unfortunately, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
Also please read this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/
Best regards,
