Hello,
I recently noticed that the check-box “Use as mega menu” was disappeared from the menu items and “columns or rows” were no more available in sub-menu items.
When i create a new menu item, the check-box “use as mega menu” shows up but disappears once the item is saved.
I’m using Enfold 4.0.7
Thank you for your help,
RichardOctober 17, 2018 at 3:57 am #1022498Hey rivandemo,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.5) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to delete the old version before you upload the new one in order for it to install properly.
Best regards,
RikardOctober 17, 2018 at 10:18 am #1022663Hello Rikard,
When i open “Enfold->Theme update” i get “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.0.7)” Strange!
When i try the theme update through “Dashboard->Updates” i see 3 themes ready for update but not Enfold.
Did you try this yourself on my site?
I did not try the update via FTP as i have a question about it: will the Enfold parameters still be the same? (i suppose yes if they are stored in the DB).
Best regards,

I have updated the Enfold theme to version 4.5 but the same problem occurs.
Thanks,
RichardOctober 19, 2018 at 2:11 am #1023716Hi,
Thanks for the update.
I tried to login but the credentials are invalid. Did you happen to install the Popup Maker plugin? That plugin has a minor incompatibility issue with the mega menu because they are using the same editor hook. You have to disable the popup menu editor. More info in the theme docs.

I tried with the credentials i gave and for me it is working.
I don’t use the Popup Maker plugin.

RichardOctober 23, 2018 at 11:19 am #1025340Hi,
I think it’s not working because of the “If Menu – Visibility control for menu items” plugin. Please try to disable it temporarily.

IsmaelOctober 23, 2018 at 11:35 am #1025350Thank you Ismael, that was indeed the reason of my problem..
Is there a way to get both plugins working you think?Richard
October 23, 2018 at 2:42 pm #1025433Hi,
The plugin is probably using the same hook as the mega menu, which is the same exact issue as Popup Maker plugin conflict. The PUP Maker provided a workaround but I’m not sure if it’s going work with the “menu visiblity” plugin.
// https://wordpress.org/support/topic/overrides-other-menu-functions/#post-8945399
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/mega-menu/#mega-menu-appears-as-a-normal-menuPlease ask the plugin author if it’s possible to call the render function using the “wp_nav_menu_item_custom_fields” hook as described above.
Best regards,
Ismael -
