    Hi,
    Changed the sidebar widget titles in custom css:
    .widgettitle {
    color: green !important;
    text-transform: capitalize;
    font-variant: small-caps;
    font-size: 15px;
    }
    Now when the page loads, I still see the old black bold titles flash. Is there a way to correct this so that they do not show anymore?

    I also see the body section of the blog resize on page load. Any idea what causes this? I’ve set the blog and sidebar sizes in the theme options -> sidebar settings.

    Hey Court_2,

    Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Sure.
    The resizing on the blog body was happening even before adding the widget, so that is not caused by the widget. Maybe something in the css? The blog pages are the only pages where we have the sidebar and that do this.
    The widget is an affiliate link. Is there a way to fix it and keep it or does it have to be removed?
    Please let me know what is going on as we are ready to start marketing.

    P.S. Thank you for building a theme that is fast and converts beautifully on mobile.

    Hi Court_2,

    Thanks for the credentials. I do not really see the body resizing. Can you please make a small screencast so that we can see the issue?

    Which browser are you using?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    My screen recorder didn’t work, but I had somebody record it for me.
    Attached is a link for you to see what happens on Google Chrome.
    On Microsoft Edge, only the logo flickers, everything else looks fine.
    On Mozilla Firefox, everything looks fine.
    Is there any code that would fix how the theme performs on Chrome?
    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Odd. I can’t see the issue when the theme’s File Compression options are disabled. If the option is enabled, the merged stylesheet takes about 300++ ms to load so you can see the default style before the theme overrides it. Try to move the SiteOrigin css modifications to the theme’s Quick CSS field to the child theme’s style.css file then enable the file compression again.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Thank you! All css modifications are now in the child theme’s style.css. Still see a minor flicker. Not sure now, if some of the header css is causing it. Will check my css there.

    I have an additional question regarding mobile. So far have only three categories, a fourth one coming up soon. On the blog page and individual post pages, the featured image shows nicely. However, on the category pages, there is no image. I’m using the single author big preview image layout. How can I I make the mobile show the same nice image as the blog page is showing on the category pages?

    Hi,

    The featured images are visible in the category pages. They are smaller compare to the default blog overview page.

    Unfortunately they’re not visible on mobile. Therefore, on the mobile post category pages look dull and uninteresting. Yes, there’s a small thumbnail on the left on desktop., which makes one wonder why the theme doesn’t have the same size featured image on the post category pages as on the blog posts page (the main page with exceprts). We all know images attract attention and arouse interest. A picture speaks a thousand words.

    Now the mobile page has just text and your answer gave me to understand there is no easy way to add the images there. More people are browsing the Internet on their mobile phone than on their desktop or laptop these days. The post category pages are very important as a directory of blogs. It’d be nice to see in your future version that the category pages would have the same style images as the blog post page. That shouldn’t be too hard to do and it would make the pages look consistent.

    Thank you for a great theme. It’s quite versatile and allowed me hastily put together a decent website.
