    Hello,

    Since the wordpress 4.5 update my slider images and feature images are not appearing.
    I am running on Enfold Child 3.1.2. I have submitted my API key and user name over 12 hours and no update. I have also tricked clicking on theme updates, entering it manually and notice reads I have the latest version yet you have 3.5 which will fix the wordpress 4.5 update.

    Kindly advise.

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I looked at the video and it did not help at all. I tried to upload first like the instructions and that failed. I don’t know how to do the second suggestion.

    Please help.. I don’t understand what is the point of Enfold mentioning that updates would automatically happen every 12 hours if it has been over 4 days now and nothing has happened.

    Kindly advise.

    Hey!

    Please add the below code in functions.php

    function modify_jquery() {
if (!is_admin()) {
	wp_deregister_script('jquery');
	wp_register_script('jquery', 'https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.3.min.js');
	wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
}
}
add_action('init', 'modify_jquery');

    The login credentials do not work for us to troubleshoot this issue from dashboard. However we noticed you are probably using an old version of the theme. We have released an enfold update to match the changes made in the latest version of wordpress 4.5 If you are not using a child theme please backup any custom changes you may have added to the theme and update enfold to latest version 3.5.3 make sure you have the correct API key from themeforest.
    If you are not able to view the update option in wordpress dashboard. Please update the theme manually via FTP following the steps provided here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/

    Once you have updated to the latest version you can remove the above code from functions.php

    I don’t know how to do that so you are going to have to walk me through. I don’t think you reviewed my previous posts because I have indicated that I am not receiving the latest version, 3.5.3 even though I have provided my user name and API key to receive the upgrade which is now over 6 days.

    Kindly advise when this will be resolved.

    Hi!

    Did you install the code i previously provided into functions.php ? That should have solved most of the errors on the site for you..

    Please install this plugin and run it https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/ in most cases it resolved the update options if you are not currently seeing it. If this don’t work for you the theme need to be installed via FTP. Once the theme is updated to the latest version everything will work fine for you.

    I have already mentioned before that I tried installing it the way you suggested and it did not work. I also noted that I was unaware of FTP and that your team would have to walk me through it step by step.

    I have mentioned at least 3 times that I do not know how to do that via FTP. I don’t understand why you guys have not updated my plugin to the new version even though I have submitted my user name and API key. This is very irritating to go back and forth on this issue for the past 6 days.

    Please advise by walking me through it step by step.

    Please contact your hosting provider and ask for your FTP logins and then post them here privately so we can update the theme for you.

    Hi!

    Please delete all the old theme folder from FTP and then download the enfold latest version 3.5.4 from themeforest and update the theme manually via FTP following the steps provided here http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/

    If you still have any issues we need FTP credentials to resolve this issue.
