In wordpress ( WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips settings) i find some info :
” Do you want to use your own template ? Copy all files from wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/templates/Simple to your child theme in wp-content/themes/enfold/woocommerce/pdf/yourtemplate and adjust the way you want .
But i cann’t find those enfold folders. What are the right folders ? wp-content/themes/enfold/…January 5, 2018 at 5:35 pm #893760Just create the folders yourself in your child theme (you are using a child theme aren’t you? Don’t develop in the enfold theme
eg:
January 5, 2018 at 5:48 pm #893765No child theme (i think) . I see only enfold active. I see another theme in the folder hierarchy (/public_html/wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen), but this one is not active:
January 5, 2018 at 5:52 pm #893767twentyseventeen is the default theme that comes with WordPress. Use it if you need to test if your current theme is causing issues, otherwise just leave it alone (but make sure it is updated as and when you get the notification in the Dashboard.
Otherwise you should always develop on a child theme.
See: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
This way any changes you make to the core code won’t be stomped on when Enfold is updated.
January 6, 2018 at 10:55 am #894020Hi,
Thanks for helping out @DigitalEssence, like you pointed out it’s always a good idea to use a child theme for any type of site really. Even if you don’t plan on making any changes to the theme, things like these tend to happen, and you end up needing it after all.

RikardJanuary 6, 2018 at 5:08 pm #894124Hi,
I read the child theme chapter…
I am not familiar with child themes (yet). Is there an other way, with enfold as head theme?January 7, 2018 at 5:30 am #894286Hi,
Yes there is, but you will lose all your changes when updating, so I would recommend that you use a child theme. What exactly are you having problems with? You can download a basic child theme here: kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/

RikardJanuary 7, 2018 at 10:37 am #894310Hi,
Thank you. The problem is that the pdf only shows the standard lay-out.
The https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ site helps, but..
where can i find the staps/instructions/procedure to install this child theme without losing all my current enfold parent adjustments/changes ?January 7, 2018 at 11:45 am #894313Hi,
I think I succeeded. Only the text of my site is now green.. and can I use the enfold (child)theme for my invoice or do I have to develop a new template in /enfold-child/woocommerce/pdf/yourtemplate or can i copy some enfold-files to this location?January 8, 2018 at 5:17 pm #894780Hi maxalbers,
Enfold templates will be used from the parent theme. You can change the colors in the theme options in the child theme, just like you did in the parent theme.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
