    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/widget-woocommerce-layered-nav-not-displaying/

Hi! I read through the post above and I am having the same exact issue.
(I even followed the instructions to set a main shop page and it didn’t seem to resolve the conflicts I’m having.)

The most imminent problem is that I’m trying to apply the Woocommerce Layered Nav Filters widget to the main shop page sidebar (at the very top) so that shoppers can clear their filters and get back to other shopping. When I added this widget to the sidebar, it doesn’t show up at all. I tried clearing my cache and also viewing it another browser.

I’ve included my login info so you can check it out!
    Thank you so much! Liz

    Hey losting,

Thanks for the login details. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.0.5) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hi. I updated and it made no change. :/

    Hi losting,

You need to update WooCommerce as well.

Ok, this is updated too. The layered nav widget isn’t working yet.

    Hi,

Are you sure you are using the correct sidebar?
If you add something else, does it work properly?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

Yes, I tried that and it did work properly.

    Hi losting,

I tried adding it to a single product page and it did not show up. So I would suggest switching to a default theme and checking if the that widget would show up then, if not, you should write to WooCommerce support.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

The widget inherently does not work with single product pages. It only works with the home shop page so that testing not working, is to be expected.

If I switch out of Enfold to a default theme (to test) and then switch back to Enfold will I lose any of my settings in Enfold? Will the custom CSS be saved?

    Hi,

I checked the shop page and the “Brand” filter is working. Please note that the filter is not going to work for a custom shop page. You need to add the filter on the page set as shop page in the WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display panel.

    Hi.
Yes, the brand filter is working. The one I mentioned in this thread is the Woocommerce Layered Nav Filters widget to the main shop page sidebar (at the very top) so that shoppers can clear their filters and get back to other shopping. It is a separate widget. Sorry if I was not clear.

Specifically, it is a widget that allows you to “x” out your selections.

(I originally had a custom shopping page and then defaulted to the basic one and selected that already in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display so that should not be causing any issues).

    Hi,

I see. Please note that the WooCommerce Layered Nav Filter widget requires the WooCommerce Layered Nav widget. The first widget will display the active product attributes selected from the WooCommerce Layered Nav widget. Make sure that the products contain product attributes.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

ok. I suppose I misunderstood and thought it would display higher level selections, like brand and categories.

Can you let me know the answer to a question above:
If I switch out of Enfold to a default theme (to test) and then switch back to Enfold will I lose any of my settings in Enfold? Will the custom CSS be saved?

After that we can close this ticket. Thank you.

    Hey Liz!

You can switch between default themes and Enfold and your settings will remain intact :)

    Cheers!
