    Hi,

    since a few days we are not able to edit our widgets or enter the customizer. The widgets page throws a fatal error, stack trace starts with:
    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: array_search(): Argument #2 ($haystack) must be of type array, null given in /homepages/9/d226385426/htdocs/clickandbuilds/xxx/wp-includes/widgets.php:1510 Stack trace: #0

    The customizer remains empty, nothing is desplayed, so we cannot edit style sheets and more.

    Any help?

    Hi kringsstefanie,

    Can you try to temporarily disable all plugins and see if it helps? if it does, enable the plugin one by one to know which one is causing the issue.
    If it does not help, please try to change the PHP version to 7.4.

    Hi Nikko,

    disabling the plugins does not help, but turning to PHP7.4 made it better, but not really good. The error and stacktrace still appear, but will be overlayed by the widgets form afterwards, so it is now possible to edit them. The stacktrace remains visible in the top haeder of the page. This still indicates, that there is an error, that should be fixed.

    Hi Rikard,

    the Theme-Update tab says “Keine Aktualisierung verfügbar. Du verwendest die letzte Version! (4.8.1)”, in English “No update available. You are using the latest version 4.8.1”. Why is this telling we were up to date, if there is a newer version?
    I’ll let you know, whether the update helped. I’ll try later.

    I’m not sure to be honest with you, but it might be your security plugin which is blocking the traffic. Could you try to install and configure this plugin, to see if that works better please? https://envato.com/market-plugin/
