    Hi,

    after updating to newest Enfold version the website is broken: icons are broken, slider is not showing up properly etc. Same with English website via WPML. We already did the following steps for may solving the problem, but no chance:

    – deactivated all plugins
    – uploaded Enfold new version again

    With the “old 4.2.2” version it works fine, but not with the new one. Since it is a company website, we reset to version 4.2.2 for displaying properly.

    Hey,

    FTP logins are not working for me. Could you please check them once again?
    Going to /wp-content/themes/enfold via FTP, deleting it and then installing the theme via FTP once again – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#ftp-install should solve the issue.

    sorry, my bad. Please find the correct FTP login in private content box. I already did the above mentioned, but it does not solve the problem. Thus I really do appreciate all your help. Thank you in advance.

    I deleted old version of enfold folder and renamed new version to “enfold” and that helped. Please review your website

    Hi Yigit,

    great, thank you. But still there are some issues: In the English menu item “Our business” and all its submenu items (please see full URL in private content box) the slider and Google maps in sidebar are not being displayed, but on German website they do.

    Can you help and tell what is happening here? Also, how can I be sure that after update to Enfold 4.4 (thanks so much for it!) it will not happen again?

    Hi,

    Wordpress credentials do not work to check the issue in the backend. Please try and recreate the page element which is missing in the frontend.

    We test our theme throughly and assure you that the theme alone does not cause any issue. Each site has a different configuration and server settings. To add it some plugins may cause a conflict. To avioid such a situation in future please follow the standard update procidure.

    You can create a staging server and update the staging site first if all goes fine make the changes to the live site.

    Hi,

    thank you for the explanation.

    Please find in private content box the correct login details, I created new user for you; they do work fine on my end.

    In the backend the element for fullwidth slider and simple slider are showing up properly, but NOT on the fronted; Google Maps also not displaying in sidebar. Please note on the German website everything is working fine, but not on the English one. Also it is just for the menu item “Our business” and its submenu items (please find the corresponding links in the private content box as well.).

    Not sure what happens if I update to 4.4, but I need to update to news version due to GDPR!

    Thus your urgent help is really appreciated since the GDPR enter into force as from today and I need to implement all the Enfold GDPR elements today!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info.

    We re-save the theme options to regenerate the scripts and deactivated a few modifications in the child theme. The slider loads now and there seems to no other issues.
