    I can’t use the Google’s WebP image format. Any chance this is going to be allowed in the near future?

    Hi

    Do plugins such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/webp-express/ not work for you?
    I haven’t tried it myself.

    There no support for webp images in WordPress as far as I know, but using a plugin like @michaelH recommended might work out for you?

    Do you guys see a conflict with WebP image displays using ShortPixel and your theme?

    The options provided to us is as follows: https://nimb.ws/a0wjOg

    And quite honestly, I am not certain which direction to go in to avoid breaking the layout.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Justin,

    I’m very sorry for the late reply. We don’t have any support for WebP at the moment unfortunately. If you are using a plugin to that WebP to your site then please try reaching out to the plugin developers to see if they can help you out.
