    Hi,

I updated to the latest version of Enfold and found out the embedded video not working anymore.

And the Instagram widget is not working either, it says:

    Errors found:

    Instagram has returned invalid data.

    Hi edge513,

The Video is not working on this format https://youtu.be/video_id it should be in this format https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=video_id (see private content).
As for Instagram please consider using Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed plugin.
Then for further instructions please check our documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/instagram/#enfold-instagram-smash-balloon-widget-and-element

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hey edge513!

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The URL format of the youtube video in the page is incorrect. The video element accepts the following format.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJf8T17Z344

We have adjusted the URL in the page. The video is now displaying correctly. (see private field)

    Cheers!

    Hi Nikko and Ismael,

    Thank you for your replies!

Here is how I embed the videos:

I’ve been using the short links since I started the website, my website didn’t have any video playing problem before the latest update.

As you can see, there are over 100 posts on my websites, they are all using the short YouTube links because when you copy your video link from YouTube studio, that is the default version now, do I have to change the short links 1 by 1 manually, or is there a better way to do that?

    All the best,
    edge513

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Yes, I am afraid you will have to update the URL manually because they are in a format that the video shortcode does not recognized. You have to use the Youtube URL format with the v URL query parameter. We are not really sure how you made it work before, but this is the only Youtube URL format that the shortcode accepts ever since.

    Example:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=videoIDhere1234

You can actually find the same format in the sample videos.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
