is there a simple answer how to see videos which are in color sections as a background and work on Ipads? I triede both, youtube and vimeo without luck. on mac (safari) it works, on Ipad not. thank you very much.

Autoplay is not allowed on mobile Apple devices unfortunately. You could add a fallback image to the Color Section, or hide it and use the regular Video element for mobile devices instead for example.

Of course, the color section has an option to set the fallback image that will display on mobile when a video is not displayed.

RikardDo you know if they plan to update the play video on mobile soon? Lot’s of other builder do that option and it seems that the Vimeo default video do work with a simple link not yet on youtude.

Have you tried muting the video or disabling it sounds? Autoplay is allowed on mobile devices if the video doesn’t have any sounds on start. However, it’s not really recommended to add background videos because they can degrade the performance of the page. You’re probably better off with the fall back image or just add an actual video element as suggested above.

VictoriaI have provided 2 examples in the private section. One using enfold and the other using some Shopify builder. however other WordPress them works just as well. Kriesi should update the video code to make it work. I would gladly to a workaround for now.

Victoriathe idea was to use it just like the color section so I could use type and positioned layout over it.
I just pasted the iframe code and it does not work as I hoped. The video display on mobile bu the full with is gone and I can use the feature of the color section. Unless you have a hack.

Sorry for the delay. You can adjust the maximum width of the container inside the color section. Please check this documentation.

If it still doesn’t work the way you want it to, you should be able to use the layer slider to display background videos on mobile devices.
