After last Enfold update our ALB video shortcodes only display in preview mode, not on the front end. We are using the shortcode inside a WP-Download Manager post. This all worked and then we updated and now the video won’t display.

Sorry for the late reply, I believe that this could be related to a shortcode issue that we have, and I have been able to fix some sites with a version that the dev team gave us. I believe I did this on another one of your sites?

Oh I see, I already did apply the shortcode fix to this site, and while it did fix the shortcode problem it broke the solution that was given to you here
Sometimes there is some overlap with issues, and the temporary fix targets only one problem.
I see that yesterday, at the end of this post Günter says that the update is very close to being released and he expects it to solve your issues.

The 4.5.5 update worked to successfully display an ALB shortcode in a third party wysiwyg and render perfectly on the frontend. Thanks for your work!

I see that both tickets were being handled by the lead developer, and the notes of this update says that “fixed: issues with Rest API support” Please post your finding there now that you have updated to v4.5.5
Sorry but the Rest API is over my head.
