Guten Tag,
ich wollte von Version 4.2.6 auf die aktuelle Version updaten. Hier kam die Fehlermeldung, die auch mehrmals schon im Forum beschrieben wurde. Ich habe dann die angebotene Lösung, im wp_content unter auto-updates die php-Datei zu tauschen versucht. Leider habe ich dabei den Fehler begangen, die Datei nicht zu überschreiben, sondern habe sie nur hochgeladen und die alte php-Datei gelöscht. Seither habe ich kein Zugriff mehr auf mein Backend, hier wird mir nur der Text der php-Datei ausgegeben (Link im Private Content). Gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit, das zu reparieren? Ich bin aktuell ziemlich verzweifelt und ärgere mich sehr über meinen Fehler!

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please delete the old version of the theme, then upload the new one. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.
