    Hello,

    I want to create custom layout for blog tag / category page / archive posts. I am using the use the advance layout editor to build your own blog layout (simply edit the page you have chosen in Enfold->Theme Options as a blog page) option.

    I’ve set the test page in theme settings under enfold child menu.

    The page has two elements added to it – post slider and blog posts. Unfortunately, it’s not working. I just see 2 full blog posts per page, nothing changes.

    Can you help me?

    Hey Global4Net,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Did you set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout settings to “Use the advance layout builder..”? By selecting this option, the advance layout builder will be activated for the blog page. You should also reset the options in the Settings > Reading panel to default. Let us know if this helps.

    Hi Global4Net,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Hi Global4Net,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    “Use the advance layout builder” works properly for the blog page however archive/category pages cannot use the same design, only the predefined blog layout that is in the dropdown.
    It seems the only way to make the layout that you want is using a child theme, modifying archive.php and use some ALB shortcodes.

    So there is no other option to simply create any design for archive page, just modifying archive.php and use some ALB shortcodes?
