Using 'Color' layout section

Hi

I am stuck a little bit with how to use the sections provided in the theme (namely the color section), and how I want them to appear. I was wondering if you could help guide me.

I am looking at ways that I can display the table of contents shown on the ‘Sites’ page – by way of a redesign.

If you look at the page titled ‘Tablature’, you will see a layout in the color section that essentially tables two lines of data:

Image, text, image
Image, text, image

I like the way that this is being displayed.

What I would like to do is keep the look that has been created for that part of the page, but limit the width so that it displays as a “normal” page, with the right link sidebar showing as normally – essentially limit the width of the color section (on this page only), to the normal boundaries of the main section.

Is this possible, and if so, how would I go about doing that?

If you know of any other ways that I can achieve this, or similar, I would appreciate that.
