    Hi,

I am trying to set a custom page as a footer on a client website. I have done it twice before but it doesn’t seem to be working on this latest installation. Can someone take a look and see what is wrong with it. Login Credentials are in the Private section below. I am not sure what I am missing or if there is an issue.

    Thank You for your assistance.

    Hi JP,

Logging in seems to work, but everything link I click on the WordPress backend results in an error screen with the message in private. Are you seeing the same on your end? It’s difficult to check your settings if we can’t access the theme options.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Rikard,
Good Morning. I was able to login and see everything using the credentials I sent you. Take a look at the screenshot i sent in Private. You will notice in the top right that I am logged in with Your admin account. I have tried to connect using different browsers so I am not sure why you cant connect. I have tried in private browsers as well.

    Hi,

Thanks for that, it’s working better now. I wanted to check the content of your child theme, but Appearance->Theme Editor is disabled on your installation. Are you overriding header.php in your child? If so, then please try to replace that file with a copy from the parent, then add your customisations back in after that.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Rikard,

I just activated the theme editor in the admin dashboard. Please, let me know if you need anything else.

    Thank You for your assistance!

    Rikard,
I changed the name of the header.php to .old and copied the header.php from the parent theme to the child theme, now I am seeing the footer page as expected. Thank You for the help.
I also notice that the breadcrumb background, a light blue color, isn’t going edge to edge on the page. Is it possible you can assist me with this ?

    Thank You
    ~ JP

    Hi JP,

If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Ismael
