    Hi,

We would like to use the Beaver Builder with our Enfold site.

After contacting Beaver Builder support, they sent us the following request:

It should be possible to dequeue the jQuery of Enfold and you can use the functions FLBuilderModel::is_builder_enabled() or FLBuilderModel::is_builder_active() in an if statement to only dequeue while inside the page builder. However, you're going to have to check with your theme's author first on how to dequeue assets called by the theme.

Any chance you guys can help me on that?

    Appreciate your reply.

    Kind regards,
    Mark

    Hey incubado,

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

    Best regards,

Beaver Builder has stopped working with my Enfold theme (except occasionally on the front page of my site I’m not sure which recent update of Enfold caused it to stop working) but after communicating with the plugin author this is the response I got…

Thank you for your patience. I inspected your site and found that Enfold theme has an issue. This theme deregister ‘wp-mediaelements ‘ stuff ( http://jmp.sh/ODvXy9w ). I advise you to contact your theme provider and ask to solve this issue.

Is there an “easy” way to resolve this issue? While I understand a small bit about JS and PHP I’m not versed in them so this is a bit beyond me.

    Hi larrywillisva,

Enfold has it’s own Layout Builder, wouldn’t it be easier to just stick to that? We can’t be responsible for third party builders, and we can’t offer help to make them work with the theme unfortunately.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Understood, we had been using the Enfold builder but the other builder has more features and allowed us transport content from theme to theme much easier. Enfold has been great for us but the because Enfold is not WCAG accessible we need to migrate to a new theme. Thanks for responding.

    Hi,

I’m not sure exactly what is included in WCAG, but if you are looking to transfer content then that can be done with the import/export functionality of both the theme and WordPress. You can also copy/paste shortcodes if you would prefer that: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

    Best regards,
    Rikard
