Hi,
I am using the Shortcoder plugin to create some easy shortcodes and show some stuff.
I was wondering if it would be possible to enable the advanced layout builder for the shortcoder plugin, so it will show up when creating a new shortcode.
Is there any way to enable ALB for such a thing? Thanks

Thanks for contacting us!
You can enable ALB on any post type by referring to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#alb-for-any-post-type :)

Thanks.
Sorry I forgot to include that. I am aware of this function. I was able to enable ALB for the shortcoder, but not for the input field that they use. It seems that Shortcoder uses a different field for creating and storing the shortcode contents.
Being able to design shortcodes with ALB would be really great, since it provides more flexibility while using the great WYSIWYG function of the ALB.Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,

It should not require that much time to achieve, however I do understand it is not covered by your support.
One more question. Is the ALB content saved in a certain custom field? If so, what is the name of this custom field? This way I can call that custom field within my shortcode.

It is saved in the normal field where pages and posts content is saved in the wp_posts table.
Best regards,
