    Hi,
    I updated manually to version 4.6 and this is the error I get, on each page, on top.

    I asked Site Ground, my amazing hosting and they tried to help me. They checked the version of the PHP and told me that it needs to be updated. But they have not been able to update it, probably because of the site.

    Could you please help? It is very important. Belo the access to the site.

    Hey marcoabis81,

    You are running php7.2.2 which is ok. I am not seeing what you’re seeing though. Is it fixed now?

    Not anymore.
    not really sure why.
    The only thing then has changed is that the home page showed the last articles instead of the home page. Fixed this and everything else seems to be ok.

    I will monitor it :-)

    Could you please Victoria check if I am using the child theme correctly? I would not want to have set it wrong after the update of Enfold.

    Update:
    I found the first issue, I created a new post and I cannot use the Advanced editor. Even if I click on it to switch from standard editor to advanced, nothing happens.

    Could you please help?

    Thanks for the update. What happens if you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options?

    Hi Rikard,
    Nothing at all.
    The only difference happens is on the URL in the control panel, when I try to switch to advanced editor a # is added to the URL.

    In the previous message of this topic I left the access details.

    I can’t work on the website if I cannot access to the advanced editor.

    Guys it is very IMPORTANT.
    I cannot use the control panel and I would need to understand how to fix this issue.

    The button to switch from standard to advanced editor does not work. Please try it yourself. In the previous message I gave you the access details. It is very important that I fix this as soon as possible.

    Hi marcoabis81,

    I can see the issue on your end, but there are no errors in the console and so no indication why Advanced Layout Builder fails.

    Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

    Not really the answer I was expecting to receive.

    Anyway, I tried to deactivate first the Child them and using directly the Enfold them. It seems working without the Child theme. What can be the cause why the child theme is not working with the advanced editor? This is the version of the Child Theme installed Versione: 4.4.1.1530917006 did you release a new version of the child theme as well?

    Could you please help me with this issue?

    Hi marcoabis81,

    The child theme does not override any templates and only has a few functions. You can comment out the functions there and see if the Advanced Layout Builder works.

    Hi Vic.
    I always used the child theme and before your last enfold update the enfold child worked.

    I have updated the enfold theme to the last version and activated the enfold child but with enfold child active, the advanced layout doesn’t work.

    This is why I’m asking you to assist me with this.

    UPDATE.
    I restored the theme back to 1 week ago and reinstalled the theme, version EnfoldVersione: 4.6.2
    The advanced layout works.

    I activated the Child theme Enfold ChildVersione: 4.4.1.1530917006
    The advanced layout DOES NOT work.

    It is the 5th day I cannot work on the website, guys, this is a serious issue and you are just ignoring it.

    I do not know what to do guys.
    I opened this ticket on 25th of September and today is 1st of October.

    Should I just stop using Enfold because it does not work and because you keep answering after more than one day when since the beginning I marked this ticket as URGENT?

    I cannot work on the website, once I activate the child them, the advanced editor stops working. And yes, I have already done all tests: deactivated all plugins, reinstalled theme and child them.

    Nothing worked.

    Hi,

    I checked your website and i was able to enable ALB on blog posts. I added a screenshot in private content field.
    Current active child theme version is 4.4.1.1569862559. Could you please try logging in with logins you created for us and check if that makes any difference?

    many thanks for coming back to me.

    I used the other login details but nothing, same result, it is not working. I also tried Microsoft Edge. I took a little video so you can see exactly what is happening on my side.

    I also cleared the chace of both Chrome and Edge, cleared the cache of WP, still nothing.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the video! I noticed that it worked fine in English version and did not load in Italian and Spanish versions so i went to Enfold theme options and chose to use “Classic WP editor” instead of Block editor, just as Rikard suggested and it worked.
    Could you please refresh your page and try editing your posts again? :)

    Oh…. That’s incredible. It was just a small to be changed from the settings. It is working in the italian version too now.
    Well, what can I say, thanks thanks thanks :-)

    Anyway, it may be a good feedback for you too knowing that if that option is on standard editor, it is not possible to switch it to advanced editor from within the post.
