We are experiencing an issue when we tried to upload the theme https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990
    Please check it and fix
The error message is: The link you followed has expired

    Hey seedersgr,
I see the theme is installed so I assume that you realized that you were uploading the wrong version with the documentation instead of the installable WP version from your Theme Forest account.
Since you have this sorted out shall we close this then?
    Best regards,
    Mike

Hi, I am also having the same issue, and I have made certain to only download the installable file – I’ve done that twice now and have attempted multiple times to upload the zip file to WordPress, and keep getting the same message “The link you followed has expired”. I can’t see that it has been installed (as above customer). Please let me know of any further information you need. I have volunteered to update the website of a not-for-profit, and really want to get it right. Thank you.

    Hi KurandaAmphitheatre2022,

Please try to do the following:
    1. Login to ThemeForest and download the Enfold theme, right-click over the downloaded zip file and extract/unzip it.
    2. It should generate a new folder, open it and look for the enfold folder
    3. Right-click the enfold folder then zip it, here’s a tutorial on how to create a zip file in windows: https://www.howtogeek.com/668409/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-windows-10/ (this should create enfold.zip
    4. Log in to WordPress as and Admin.
    5. Go to Appearance > Themes, switch to a default WordPress theme like TwentyTwenty then delete Enfold.
    6. Click on the ADD NEW button.
    7. Click on the UPLOAD THEME button.
    8. Click BROWSE and choose enfold.zip file
    9. Click the INSTALL NOW button and switch to Enfold or your child theme.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

Thank you, Nikko – I tried just uploading the Enfold zipped folder yesterday and it wouldn’t upload even then. It might have been a limit on uploads which I couldn’t find in cPanel. I ended up finding a tutorial video and uploading it directly into the folder in cPanel – that seemed to work fine. Thank you very much for your response.

    Hi KurandaAmphitheatre2022,

Great, I’m glad that you found a solution, and thanks for the update.

    Best regards,
