    Hello,

    I’ve inherited a website running Enfold theme ver. 3.4.6. Page editing is not possible with recent WordPress updates so it seems like a theme update is necessary.
    How do I update without purchase verification ?

    All I am seeing on the “theme update” page is:
    Themeforest username: digitalkeeper
    API key: 9dqatnpallh4icqvvrhkffril0r7q71m

    Says running version 3.4.6
    “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.4.6)”

    Well, you can install the Envato Market plugin, generate a token, and update the theme.

    I have no purchase code as I inherited a website with Enfold theme.
    Can’t generate a token because I don’t have an account.
    What should I do ?

    Hi Bob,

    Could you try reaching out the person who actually bought the license, to see if they can give you access please? If you can’t get access, then I would recommend that you purchase a license of your own. Otherwise you will have this problem every time you want to update, or need access to the theme files.

    Once you have access the theme files then the update to 4.7.6.4 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
