GuestI have started supporting a WordPress site for a customer that had it done by a different developer.
The site uses a child theme of enfold and there is no product key in order to update it.
Is it possible to buy a new product key and use the built in functionality to update the theme?
I’m experiencing an error due to PHP7.1What I have now is: “Your current Parent Theme (Enfold) Version Number is 3.4.7”
Can I buy the new version of the theme, not install it but just use the key to update the existing one?
And where should I buy it?Private Data:

Thanks for contacting us!
Yes, you would be able to update Enfold and use our support forum if you purchase a new license.
After that, please register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ using your purchase code and refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/ to update Enfold to the latest version :)
Let us know if you have any other questions!
Best regards,

GuestThank you,
I have just purchased the new theme, and need to know where to find the API key and username (I guess the username is the one used to purchase the theme)
Sorry, but the link you posted does not tell anything about where and how to find the API key or anything else.
/paoloFebruary 6, 2019 at 4:17 pm #1063686Hi,
You can find instructions here – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/ :)

GuestOK, thank you, done.
I do not see any button to force an immediate upgrade. Is it true? Shall I wait for the 12 hours to pass in order to be able to upgrade the theme?
This should be the last question :-)February 6, 2019 at 4:37 pm #1063696paolo poggi
Guestno, rather: I got a link to check manually and it showed that there is only one theme update and that is
Twenty Sixteen . Enfold or the child is not shown.February 6, 2019 at 8:42 pm #1063748Hi,
Envato has updated their API and we have applied those changes in Enfold in version 4.5. Therefore, you would need to update the theme manually for older versions – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/ :)

GuestHi Yigit,
you continue posting that link, but it is broken in a very literal sense: the first part is linking to https://kriesi.at/support/topic/ while the part starting with the bracket is directing to: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-old-enfold-theme/?avia_support_contact=avs_5c5adffeb51ff8.35147876_1063654# which is this very post. The last part is just text.
Now, please check it out and find the correct link.

YigitFebruary 7, 2019 at 1:58 pm #1064128I logged in to the support forum. Your link is still unusable, however I did a search in the forum using part of your link’s text and found:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problems-to-update-to-enfold-4-5/
which has a runup of the manual update procedure. Nothing special, but good to have a confirmation that replacing the enfold folder is actually all what you need to do.
Case is closed for me now.
Thank you for your prompt replies (but you need to review that link of yours ;-)Kind regards, Paolo
