Hi Kriesi.at,
I purchased a basic website package from a developer on peopleperhour which included one premium theme and I picked your enfold layout for its clean style. Is it possible to update the enfold theme I have? I am running a very old version 3.3.2 as I purchased the site some years ago and it has a lot of compatibility issues with wordpress 5.5, elements disappearing and the advanced editor not working at all.I really love this theme and would prefer to keep using if possible, is it possible to update it? I have included the link to my website below.

Hey Alex,
I’m not sure I understand what you are asking here, did you purchase the theme license from a third party developer, or from Themeforest.net? Themeforest is the only outlet which you can purchase our theme, so if you haven’t bought it there then please reach out to the developer so that he can give you access to the theme files. If you can’t get that then you will likely need to get your own license here: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990
Once you have access to the theme files then the update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
