    Hi, I have updated the theme to version 4.3.1 manual via FTP – I always did that on this way.
    After updating this error message is displayed:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /kunden/509748_81247/webseiten/wordpress/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:16) in /kunden/509748_81247/webseiten/wordpress/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php on line 12

    … so that the whole website isn’t displayed.

    Now, I re-uploade the backup.

    Hey Birgit,

    Please go to /wp-content/themes/enfold via FTP, delete it and re-upload the theme – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#reinstall-or-update-using-ftp. Issue occurs when folders are merged instead of replaced and re-installing theme should help :)

    Yigit, when deleting a folder to install the theme, is there a fast way to do it? In Filezilla it takes a long time to delete the Enfold folder which means my site is down longer than ideal. Should I just rename the folder, then install Enfold to the old folder location, then delete the old enfold folder? I’ve been wondering about this for some time.

    Great!
    In the meantime, we have released Enfold 4.4 – https://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-4-4-and-the-gdpr-general-data-protection-regulation. You should not experience any issues updating from 4.3.1 to 4.4. In case you do, please let us know :)
