We have a valid new personal token, yet when we select update, we get the following error: “An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed: Forbidden”
The details above the error look like this:

We are able to download the Theme from Themeforest and install manually, but that requires first removing the previous version, which we do not wish to doJanuary 25, 2019 at 1:11 pm #1058689January 25, 2019 at 2:09 pm #1058728
From which version are you updating Enfold? I tried updating from 4.5.2 to 4.5.3 on my local installation using personal token and it worked fine.
If you are updating from an older version of Enfold, please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/updating-to-enfold-4-5-and-validating-personal-token/

I’ve already opened a thread about this, but I can answer you. I have the same problem updating from 4.5.2 with a valide token.

Same here – but I don’t know if it is because I have already updated the Kinsta Staging area and the token worked there. Should I update via SFTP?January 26, 2019 at 12:29 am #1058956January 26, 2019 at 1:32 pm #1059122January 26, 2019 at 1:59 pm #1059130
These update fails are becoming very boring, expecially for people that manages several sites.. Please Kriesi or Envato fix..

For your info: after Ismael of the Kriesi team as admin in my site disabled the file compression settings in the Enfold > Performance panel temporarily for another issue, I was able to update to 2.5.3February 1, 2019 at 2:12 pm #1061549February 1, 2019 at 6:42 pm #1061657
@Loes, thanks that was the right workaround for my update problem either.
But the dasboard didnt recocnize the versions-update: ”Du hast Version 4.5.3 installiert. Aktualisiere auf Version 4.5.3. ”
Nevertheless it works…February 2, 2019 at 6:09 am #1061866
